أصدرت محكمة أردنية صباح، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، حكمها في القضية التي شغلت الرأي العام المتعلقة بوفاة الشابة المصرية آية عادل، إذ قضت بحبس زوجها سنة واحدة بتهمة الإيذاء، مع إلزامه بدفع غرامة مالية، في حين برأته من تهمة حملها على الانتحار لعدم كفاية الأدلة.

ورفضت المحكمة المطالب المدنية المتعلقة بالتعويض، مشيرة إلى غياب إعلام وراثة رسمي. ورغم ذلك، ترك الحكم الباب مفتوحاً أمام الطعن خلال المدة القانونية.
موقف أسرة الضحية
وأعربت والدة آية عادل عن استيائها من إسقاط تهمة التحريض على الانتحار، مؤكدة أن الأسرة لن تتخلى عن حق ابنتها، وأنها ستواصل الإجراءات القانونية لإعادة فتح الملف.
ثغرات في التحقيق
واستند ملف القضية في بدايته إلى كاميرا مراقبة أظهرت لحظة سقوط الضحية مع وجود يد قريبة منها، وهو ما أثار الشبهات. غير أن النيابة العامة لم تأخذ بشهادات عدد من الجيران الذين أكدوا امتلاكهم معلومات كان من شأنها أن تغير مجرى التحقيق، بحسب مزاعم عائلة الضحية.
كما لفت فريق الدفاع إلى أن الشقة التي شهدت الواقعة أُغلقت لبضعة أيام فقط، من دون استكمال إجراءات رفع البصمات أو فحص أدوات المطبخ، وهو ما اعتبرته الأسرة قصوراً مؤثراً في سير العدالة.
جدل متواصل
ولا تزال القضية تثير جدلاً واسعاً في مصر والأردن على حدٍّ سواء، خصوصاً مع بروز روايات متناقضة حول ما إذا كانت الوفاة ناجمة عن انتحار أم دفع متعمد من قبل الزوج.
فيما اعتبر ناشطون أن الحكم الأخير يفتح الباب لمزيد من التساؤلات حول كفاءة التحقيقات وضرورة إعادة النظر في الأدلة المتوفرة.
A Jordanian court issued its ruling this morning (Tuesday) in the case that captivated public opinion regarding the death of the young Egyptian woman Aya Adel.
