أسابيع قليلة، تفصلنا عن انطلاق الدورة الثانية من مهرجان بغداد السينمائي، والتي تنطلق فعالياتها في الفترة من 15 وحتى 21 سبتمبر القادم في العاصمة العراقية بغداد، تحت رئاسة الدكتور جبار جودي، وبإشراف ودعم مباشر من رئيس مجلس الوزراء العراقي ونقابة الفنانين العراقيين.
وكشف الدكتور حكمت البيضاني، مدير المهرجان، في بيان صحفي، تفاصيل الدورة الثانية، حيث أوضح أن البرنامج الفني لهذه الدورة سيكون متنوعًا وثرِيًا، حيث يشمل مسابقة للأفلام الروائية العربية الطويلة، وأخرى مخصصة للأفلام الروائية القصيرة، إلى جانب مسابقات خاصة بالأفلام الوثائقية الطويلة والقصيرة، بما يمنح مساحة واسعة لتقديم أصوات وتجارب مختلفة من داخل العراق والعالم العربي.
كما سيشهد الدورة الثانية أيضًا عددًا من الورش التدريبية المتخصصة والدروس السينمائية، التي يقدمها نخبة من أبرز صناع السينما العراقيين والعرب، وذلك في إطار سعي المهرجان إلى تنمية مهارات الشباب، وتعزيز خبراتهم في مختلف مجالات الصناعة السينمائية.
ويأتي تنظيم الدورة الثانية بعد النجاح الكبير الذي حققته الدورة الأولى، لتؤكد مكانة المهرجان كأحد أهم الفعاليات الثقافية والفنية في العراق والمنطقة العربية، حيث يسعى إلى مد جسور جديدة بين صناع السينما والجمهور، وإعادة إحياء الدور الريادي لبغداد كعاصمة للإبداع والفنون.
مهرجان بغداد السينمائي
ويُعد مهرجان بغداد السينمائي مهرجانًا غير ربحي، يهدف بالأساس إلى نشر الثقافة السينمائية وتعزيزها في المجتمع، من خلال تشجيع الجمهور على التفاعل مع الأعمال الفنية، وفتح المجال أمام صناع الأفلام لعرض إبداعاتهم وتبادل الخبرات، ويسعى المهرجان إلى تقديم الدعم المباشر لصناعة السينما العراقية والعربية، وإيجاد منصة حقيقية تساعد على تطويرها وإثرائها، لتكون قادرة على المنافسة عالميًا.
وتمثل إقامة هذا المهرجان فرصة لإبراز الوجه الحضاري والثقافي للعراق في ظل ما تشهده المنطقة من تحولات، والتأكيد على أن السينما تبقى لغة عالمية قادرة على توحيد الشعوب وبناء جسور التواصل بينها.
A few weeks separate us from the launch of the second edition of the Baghdad International Film Festival, which will take place from September 15 to 21 in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, under the presidency of Dr. Jabbar Jodi, with direct supervision and support from the Prime Minister of Iraq and the Iraqi Artists' Union.
Dr. Hikmat Al-Baydani, the festival director, revealed in a press statement the details of the second edition, explaining that the artistic program for this edition will be diverse and rich, including a competition for feature-length Arab films, another dedicated to short narrative films, as well as special competitions for both feature-length and short documentary films, providing ample space to showcase different voices and experiences from within Iraq and the Arab world.
The second edition will also feature a number of specialized training workshops and cinematic lessons, presented by a selection of the most prominent Iraqi and Arab filmmakers, as part of the festival's efforts to develop the skills of young people and enhance their experiences in various fields of the film industry.
The organization of the second edition comes after the great success achieved by the first edition, reaffirming the festival's position as one of the most important cultural and artistic events in Iraq and the Arab region, as it seeks to build new bridges between filmmakers and the audience, and to revive Baghdad's pioneering role as a capital of creativity and arts.
