أحبطت شرطة دبي محاولة سرقة ماسة وردية نادرة عالميًا تبلغ قيمتها 25 مليون دولار أمريكي، بعد جهود استخباراتية وميدانية مكثفة استمرت 8 ساعات فقط. وألقت السلطات القبض على العصابة المكونة من ثلاثة آسيويين حاولوا تنفيذ الجريمة عبر استدراج مالك الماسة وجعلها خارج متجره باستخدام حيلة ذكية.
وقال مالك الماسة إن سرعة استجابة شرطة دبي منحت شعورًا بالأمان والثقة في استعادة الماسة، مشيدًا بمهارة الضباط في التعامل مع الحادثة.
وأوضحت الشرطة أن الماسة تبلغ 21.25 قراط من نوع «فانسي إنتنس»، وذات درجة نقاوة عالية وصقل متقن، ما يجعل الحصول على مثلها أمرًا نادرًا جدًا عالميًا.
وبحسب تفاصيل التحقيق، خططت العصابة لعملية السرقة على مدار أكثر من عام، مستخدمة سيارات فارهة واجتماعات في أفخم الفنادق لإيهام التاجر بأنهم وسطاء لأحد المشترين الأثرياء، قبل محاولة تهريب الماسة في ثلاجة صغيرة عبر خدمات شحن البضائع.
وتمكنت الشرطة من التعرف على أفراد العصابة وتحديد مواقعهم بسرعة فائقة، لتتم عملية القبض عليهم واستعادة الماسة دون أي خسائر.

The police clarified that the diamond weighs 21.25 carats and is of the "Fancy Intense" type, with a high purity grade and exquisite cut, making it extremely rare to find globally.
According to investigation details, the gang had planned the theft for over a year, using luxury cars and meetings in the finest hotels to deceive the trader into believing they were intermediaries for a wealthy buyer, before attempting to smuggle the diamond in a small refrigerator through cargo shipping services.
The police were able to quickly identify the gang members and locate them, leading to their arrest and the recovery of the diamond without any losses.
