ضرب زلزال بقوة 5.1 درجة على مقياس ريختر اليوم شرق اليابان.
وذكرت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية اليابانية -في بيان- أن مركز الزلزال الذي وقع قبالة محافظة «إيباراكي» شمال شرق العاصمة طوكيو، نشأ في المحيط الهادي على عمق نحو 50 كيلومترًا.
ولم ترد حتى الآن تقارير أولية عن وقوع خسائر بشرية أو مادية جراء الزلزال، كما لم تصدر تحذيرات من احتمال حدوث موجات مد عاتية «تسونامي».
A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck today east of Japan.
The Japan Meteorological Agency stated in a report that the epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred off the coast of Ibaraki Prefecture northeast of the capital Tokyo, was located in the Pacific Ocean at a depth of about 50 kilometers.
No initial reports of casualties or material damage have been received so far due to the earthquake, and no warnings have been issued regarding the possibility of a tsunami.
