وأكد وزير الصحة الصربي زلاتيبور لونتشار أن جليسيتش تعرض لجلطة دماغية شديدة، وأن حالته كانت حرجة عند وصوله إلى المستشفى، موضحا أن الأطباء أجروا عملية جراحية معقدة للتعامل مع تجلط ونزيف في الدماغ، مشيرًا إلى أن الساعات الـ24 التالية ستكون حاسمة لتحديد مسار تعافيه.
وفي زيارة لاحقة، أعلن الرئيس الصربي ألكسندر فوتشيتش أن حالة جليسيتش تتحسن، حيث تمكن من التحدث معه خلال زيارته للمستشفى، معربًا عن تفاؤله باستقرار حالته الصحية.

The Serbian Minister of Investment, Darko Glisic, suffered a sudden stroke while being hosted on a television program on a Serbian channel on Wednesday. Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar confirmed that Glisic suffered a severe stroke and that his condition was critical upon arrival at the hospital, explaining that the doctors performed a complex surgery to address a clot and bleeding in the brain, noting that the next 24 hours would be crucial in determining the course of his recovery.
In a later visit, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced that Glisic's condition is improving, as he was able to speak with him during his visit to the hospital, expressing optimism about the stability of his health condition.
