أعلنت المنظمة الدولية للهجرة غرق (18) مهاجرًا غير شرعي قبالة سواحل مدينة طبرق شمال شرق ليبيا.
وأفادت المنظمة في بيان نشرته اليوم، بأنه تم في العملية ذاتها إنقاذ (10) أشخاص، فيما لا يزال (50) في عداد المفقودين، مؤكدة أن الحادث يسلط الضوء على المخاطر المميتة التي يواجهها المهاجرون عبر ليبيا، والتي تعتبر نقطة عبور رئيسية نحو الضفة الأخرى من المتوسط.
The International Organization for Migration announced the drowning of (18) illegal migrants off the coast of the city of Tobruk in northeastern Libya.
The organization stated in a statement published today that (10) people were rescued in the same operation, while (50) are still missing, emphasizing that the incident highlights the deadly risks faced by migrants across Libya, which is considered a major transit point to the other side of the Mediterranean.
