أثار مقطع فيديو متداول على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي تساؤلات بشأن لقاء ظهر فيه وزير الاتصالات العراقي مصطفى سند مع القيادي الحوثي أحمد محمد يحيى الوشلي، المكنى بـ«أبو طه الوشلي»، خصوصاً مع العبارات التي تضمنها المقطع وطبيعة الحضور المرافق للقيادي الحوثي.
وبحسب المقطع المتداول، ظهر الوشلي وهو يتنقل وسط حماية أمنية ومركبات، فيما رصد الفيديو الوزير العراقي وهو يقول للقيادي الحوثي: «العزيمة التي عندكم هي من تحفزنا.. والموضوع ليس صاروخاً فقط»، وهي عبارة فتحت باب التساؤلات بشأن المقصود منها، والسياق الذي قيلت فيه، وطبيعة العلاقة التي تجمع مسؤولاً عراقياً بقيادي في جماعة مسلحة يمنية إرهابية.
«ليس صاروخاً فقط».. عبارة تثير الأسئلة
عبارة الوزير العراقي سند تحولت إلى محور للجدل، إذ تساءل متداولو الفيديو: ما الذي يعنيه بـ«العزيمة»؟ وما المقصود بأن «الموضوع ليس صاروخاً فقط»؟ وهل كان الحديث في سياق سياسي أم عسكري أم في إطار آخر؟
ويزداد الجدل بالنظر إلى أن اللقاء، وفق الرواية المتداولة، يجمع شخصية عراقية رسمية بقيادي محسوب على الحوثيين، ما دفع ناشطين إلى المطالبة بتوضيح رسمي لطبيعة اللقاء وصفة الوشلي وسبب وجوده في العراق.
مواكب وحماية.. من هو «أبو طه»؟
وأظهرت اللقطات المتداولة ما قيل إنه تحرك للوشلي وسط إجراءات حماية ومركبات، فيما ذهب ناشطون إلى وصف إحداها بأنها مصفحة وباهظة الثمن.
وأعادت المشاهد إلى الواجهة تساؤلات بشأن وجود شخصيات مرتبطة بالحوثيين في العراق، وطبيعة أنشطتهم واتصالاتهم، وما إذا كانت اللقاءات تتم بصفة رسمية أو شخصية.
الضبياني: «تتصافح الأفاعي»
وعلق الإعلامي اليمني محمد الضبياني على الفيديو بلهجة حادة، قائلاً إن قيادياً حوثياً ظهر في العراق داخل سيارة مصفحة، واصفاً اللقاء بأنه مشهد «لتتصافح الأفاعي وتتعانق على قارعة الطريق».
وذهب الضبياني إلى اتهام الحشد الشعبي العراقي باحتضان الحوثيين وتقديم الدعم لهم.
A widely circulated video on social media has raised questions about a meeting in which Iraqi Communications Minister Mustafa Sand appeared alongside Houthi leader Ahmed Mohammed Yahya Al-Washli, known as "Abu Taha Al-Washli," especially given the phrases included in the clip and the nature of the entourage accompanying the Houthi leader.
According to the circulated clip, Al-Washli was seen moving amid security protection and vehicles, while the Iraqi minister was recorded saying to the Houthi leader: "The determination you have is what motivates us... and the issue is not just a missile," a statement that opened the door to questions regarding its meaning, the context in which it was said, and the nature of the relationship between an Iraqi official and a leader in a Yemeni terrorist armed group.
"Not just a missile"... a phrase that raises questions
The Iraqi minister Sand's phrase has become a focal point of controversy, as those sharing the video wondered: What does he mean by "determination"? What is meant by "the issue is not just a missile"? Was the discussion in a political, military, or other context?
The controversy intensifies considering that the meeting, according to the circulated narrative, brings together an official Iraqi figure and a leader affiliated with the Houthis, prompting activists to call for an official clarification regarding the nature of the meeting, Al-Washli's status, and the reason for his presence in Iraq.
Convoys and protection... who is "Abu Taha"?
The circulated footage showed what was claimed to be Al-Washli's movement amid protective measures and vehicles, with some activists describing one of them as armored and expensive.
The scenes have brought back questions about the presence of figures linked to the Houthis in Iraq, the nature of their activities and communications, and whether the meetings are conducted officially or personally.
Al-Dubayani: "The snakes are shaking hands"
Yemeni journalist Mohammed Al-Dubayani commented on the video with a sharp tone, stating that a Houthi leader appeared in Iraq inside an armored vehicle, describing the meeting as a scene "for the snakes to shake hands and embrace on the roadside."
Al-Dubayani went on to accuse the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces of harboring the Houthis and providing them with support.
