فقدت السلطات الروسية الاتصال بطائرة ركاب من طراز أن-24 تقل نحو 50 شخصاً اليوم (الخميس) في منطقة الشرق الأقصى الروسي، وفقاً لما أعلنه حاكم إقليم أمور.
وأفادت وزارة الطوارئ المحلية بأن الطائرة، التي تديرها شركة «أنغارا» السيبيرية للطيران، اختفت من شاشات الرادار أثناء اقترابها من مدينة تيندا في إقليم أمور المتاخم للصين.
وأكد حاكم الإقليم فاسيلي أورلوف أن الطائرة كانت تقل 43 راكباً، من بينهم 5 أطفال، و6 من أفراد الطاقم، وفقاً للبيانات الأولية.
وأضاف عبر تطبيق تيليغرام: «تم نشر جميع القوات والوسائل اللازمة للبحث عن الطائرة».
وتشير تقديرات وزارة الطوارئ إلى أن عدد الركاب قد يكون أقل قليلاً، حيث يبلغ نحو 40 شخصاً.
وتواجه عمليات البحث تحديات بسبب التضاريس الصعبة في المنطقة، التي تتميز بالغابات الكثيفة والجبال، حيث يتم إجراء معظم أعمال البحث جواً.
ولم تبلغ الطائرة عن أي مشكلات قبل فقدان الاتصال بها، ما يثير القلق بشأن مصيرها.
The Russian authorities lost contact with a passenger plane of the An-24 model carrying about 50 people today (Thursday) in the Russian Far East, according to the governor of the Amur region.
The local emergency ministry reported that the plane, operated by the Siberian airline "Angara," disappeared from radar screens as it approached the city of Tynda in the Amur region bordering China.
Governor Vasily Orlov confirmed that the plane was carrying 43 passengers, including 5 children, and 6 crew members, according to preliminary data.
He added via the Telegram app: "All necessary forces and resources have been deployed to search for the plane."
Estimates from the emergency ministry suggest that the number of passengers may be slightly lower, around 40 people.
The search operations face challenges due to the difficult terrain in the area, characterized by dense forests and mountains, where most of the search efforts are being conducted from the air.
The plane did not report any issues before losing contact, raising concerns about its fate.
