في إطار استمراره بتقديم تجربة ترفيهية لا مثيل لها، كشف رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للترفيه المستشار تركي آل الشيخ، عن ملامح قوية ومبهرة للنسخة القادمة من موسم الرياض 2025، التي ستشهد طيفاً واسعاً من الفعاليات الرياضية والفنية والثقافية العالمية.
جاء الإعلان الرسمي من خلال فيديو نشره آل الشيخ على حسابه الرسمي بموقع التواصل الاجتماعي «X»، داعياً الجمهور للاستماع بدقة، نظراً لما يحمله من مفاجآت غير مسبوقة في تاريخ المواسم الترفيهية.
«رويال رامبل» لأول مرة خارج أمريكا الشمالية
من أبرز المفاجآت التي أعلن عنها آل الشيخ إقامة منافسات «رويال رامبل»، أشهر فعاليات المصارعة الحرة WWE، لأول مرة خارج أمريكا الشمالية، في يناير القادم بالرياض، في حدث من المنتظر أن يجذب اهتماماً عالمياً واسعاً.
كما تشمل الفعاليات الرياضية منافسات UFC والمباريات الدولية في كرة القدم والملاكمة، لتتحول العاصمة السعودية إلى مسرح رياضي عالمي يدمج بين التشويق والمتعة.
بطولة تنس بـ6 من كبار لاعبي العالم
وفي تطور رياضي آخر، أعلن آل الشيخ تنظيم بطولة تاريخية في رياضة التنس، يشارك فيها 6 من أبرز لاعبي العالم، يتنافسون على أكبر جائزة مالية في تاريخ اللعبة، خلال بطولة تستمر 4 أيام.
هذه البطولة تأتي ضمن توجه الهيئة العامة للترفيه لتعزيز حضور الرياض في خريطة الرياضة العالمية، وجذب نخبة الرياضيين في مختلف التخصصات.
مهرجان عالمي للكوميديا.. لأول مرة
وعلى صعيد الفعاليات الفنية، أعلن آل الشيخ إطلاق النسخة الأولى من «مهرجان الرياض للكوميديا»، الذي سيُقام في بوليفارد سيتي بين 26 سبتمبر و9 أكتوبر 2025.
ويعد هذا المهرجان الأكبر من نوعه عالمياً، بمشاركة أكثر من 50 نجماً من أبرز نجوم الكوميديا الذين ظهروا على منصات عالمية مثل نتفليكس وأمازون برايم، كما يتضمن عروض «ستاند أب كوميدي»، وورش عمل تفاعلية تغطي مختلف الأذواق والفئات العمرية.
حفلات عالمية ومحتوى متنوع
لم يتوقف الأمر عند الرياضة والكوميديا، فقد وعد آل الشيخ جمهور موسم الرياض بحفلات غنائية عالمية ومسرحيات متنوعة، مشيراً إلى أن الموسم الجديد سيحمل محتوى غنياً يشمل الخليج وسورية، إلى جانب أحداث عالمية غير مسبوقة في المنطقة.
إنتاج درامي ضخم بميزانية 25 مليون دولار
وكان آل الشيخ قد أعلن سابقاً عن مشروع مسلسل أكشن عالمي، بميزانية تبلغ 25 مليون دولار، ليكون أحد أضخم الإنتاجات الدرامية في العالم العربي.
موسم الرياض 2025 لا يعد بموسم ترفيهي تقليدي، بل يقدّم تجربة عالمية متكاملة تجمع بين الرياضة، الفن، الكوميديا، والمحتوى المحلي والعالمي، في مشهد يرسخ مكانة الرياض كعاصمة للترفيه على مستوى الشرق الأوسط والعالم.

The official announcement came through a video posted by Al Sheikh on his official account on the social media platform “X”, inviting the audience to listen carefully, given the unprecedented surprises it holds in the history of entertainment seasons.
“Royal Rumble” for the first time outside North America
One of the most notable surprises announced by Al Sheikh is the hosting of the “Royal Rumble,” the most famous event in professional wrestling WWE, for the first time outside North America, in January in Riyadh, in an event expected to attract wide global attention.
The sports events will also include UFC competitions and international matches in football and boxing, transforming the Saudi capital into a global sports stage that combines excitement and enjoyment.
Tennis Championship with 6 of the world's top players
In another sports development, Al Sheikh announced the organization of a historic tennis championship featuring 6 of the world's top players, competing for the largest cash prize in the history of the sport, during a tournament that will last for 4 days.
This championship comes as part of the General Entertainment Authority's efforts to enhance Riyadh's presence on the global sports map and attract elite athletes from various disciplines.
Global Comedy Festival.. for the first time
On the artistic front, Al Sheikh announced the launch of the first edition of the “Riyadh Comedy Festival,” which will be held at Boulevard City between September 26 and October 9, 2025.
This festival is the largest of its kind globally, featuring more than 50 stars from the most prominent comedians who have appeared on global platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, and will include “Stand-Up Comedy” shows and interactive workshops covering various tastes and age groups.
Global concerts and diverse content
The focus has not only been on sports and comedy, as Al Sheikh promised the Riyadh Season audience global musical concerts and diverse theatrical performances, indicating that the new season will carry rich content that includes the Gulf and Syria, alongside unprecedented global events in the region.
Massive drama production with a budget of $25 million
Al Sheikh had previously announced a project for a global action series with a budget of $25 million, making it one of the largest drama productions in the Arab world.
