مشهد مأساوي هز بلدة ماجاباهيت في إندونيسيا، السبت 5 يوليو، بعد أن عُثر على رجل يبلغ من العمر 61 عاماً ميتاً بعد أن التهمه ثعبان يبلغ طوله نحو ثمانية أمتار.
وكان الضحية، الذي تم تحديد هويته باسم لا نوتي، قد تم الإبلاغ عن اختفائه بعد خروجه صباح الجمعة لإطعام دجاجته في حديقته. ووفقاً لشرطة بوتون، فقد شعرت الأسرة بالقلق عندما لم تصلهم أي أخبار عنه حتى ظهر السبت، لذلك بدأ الجيران في البحث من تلقاء أنفسهم، حتى وجدوا ثعباناً ضخماً من نوع «البايثون الشبكي»، بعد أن لاحظوا بطنه «منتفخاً للغاية»، ثم فتحوا جوفه ليعثروا على جثة المزارع الستيني.
A tragic scene shook the town of Majapahit in Indonesia on Saturday, July 5, after a 61-year-old man was found dead after being swallowed by a snake measuring about eight meters long.
The victim, identified as La Nuti, had been reported missing after he went out on Friday morning to feed his chicken in his garden. According to the police in Buton, the family became worried when they hadn’t heard from him by Saturday afternoon, so the neighbors began searching on their own until they found a huge reticulated python after noticing its belly was "very swollen." They then opened its stomach to find the body of the sixty-year-old farmer.
