شهدت مدينة أورومتشي في منطقة شينجيانغ الصينية حادثةً طريفةً وغريبةً في آنٍ واحد، بعدما تلقّت شرطة المرور بلاغاً عن خروف شارد يركض على أحد الجسور العامة، مسبباً ارتباكاً في حركة المركبات.
وبحسب بيان رسمي، هرعت دورية من شرطة المرور إلى موقع البلاغ فور تلقيه، وبدأت عملية مطاردة استمرت نحو 40 دقيقة، واجه خلالها الضباط صعوبة في السيطرة على الخروف نظراً لخفة حركته وسرعته.
لكن وبفضل التعاون بين رجال الشرطة وعدد من المارة، تمكنت القوة الأمنية من توجيه الخروف بعيداً عن مخرج الطريق السريع، وتمت السيطرة عليه دون تسجيل أي حوادث أو إصابات تُذكر.
وفي نهاية المطاردة، تم تسليم الخروف إلى صاحبه بعد التأكد من هويته، فيما أثارت الواقعة تفاعلاً واسعاً على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، إذ أشاد المستخدمون بسرعة استجابة رجال الشرطة وتعاملهم الاحترافي مع الموقف غير المعتاد.

The city of Urumqi in the Xinjiang region of China witnessed a funny and strange incident at the same time, after traffic police received a report about a stray sheep running on one of the public bridges, causing confusion in vehicle movement.
According to an official statement, a traffic police patrol rushed to the scene of the report immediately after receiving it, and a chase began that lasted about 40 minutes, during which the officers faced difficulty in controlling the sheep due to its agility and speed.
However, thanks to the cooperation between the police officers and several passersby, the security force was able to direct the sheep away from the highway exit, and it was brought under control without any reported incidents or injuries.
At the end of the chase, the sheep was handed over to its owner after verifying its identity, while the incident sparked widespread interaction on social media platforms, as users praised the quick response of the police and their professional handling of the unusual situation.
