أعلن النادي الأهلي إصابة مهاجمه الإنجليزي إيفان توني في مفصل الحوض، قبل مواجهة الفيحاء المقررة اليوم الاثنين، ضمن منافسات الجولة العاشرة من الدوري السعودي للمحترفين.
وأوضح النادي، في بيان نشره عبر حسابه الرسمي على منصة «إكس»، أن الإصابة تعرض لها اللاعب خلال التدريبات مساء السبت، مشيرا إلى خضوعه لفحوص طبية لتحديد طبيعتها بدقة، ووضع البرنامج العلاجي والتأهيلي المناسب.
ولم يكشف الأهلي عن مدة غياب المهاجم الإنجليزي، في انتظار نتائج الفحوص الطبية التي ستحدد مدى الإصابة وإمكانية عودته إلى المشاركة في المباريات القادمة.
ويستعد الأهلي لمواجهة الفيحاء سعيا إلى تحسين موقعه في جدول ترتيب الدوري، إذ يحتل المركز السادس برصيد 15 نقطة من 8 مباريات، مع امتلاكه مباراة مؤجلة أمام النصر حامل اللقب.
ويتصدر القادسية الترتيب برصيد 22 نقطة من 9 مباريات، متقدما بفارق 7 نقاط على الأهلي، فيما يحتل الفيحاء المركز الرابع عشر برصيد 7 نقاط.
The Al-Ahli club announced the injury of its English striker Ivan Toney in the hip joint, ahead of the match against Al-Fayha scheduled for today, Monday, as part of the tenth round of the Saudi Professional League.
The club explained, in a statement published on its official account on the "X" platform, that the player sustained the injury during training on Saturday evening, noting that he underwent medical examinations to accurately determine the nature of the injury and to establish an appropriate treatment and rehabilitation program.
Al-Ahli did not disclose the duration of the English striker's absence, awaiting the results of the medical examinations that will determine the extent of the injury and the possibility of his return to participate in upcoming matches.
Al-Ahli is preparing to face Al-Fayha in an effort to improve its position in the league standings, as it currently occupies sixth place with 15 points from 8 matches, while having a postponed match against the defending champion Al-Nassr.
Al-Qadisiyah tops the standings with 22 points from 9 matches, leading by 7 points over Al-Ahli, while Al-Fayha is in fourteenth place with 7 points.
