ليلة تاريخية ستظل محفورة في ذاكرة النجم الدولي البرتغالي روبن نيفيز المحترف بصفوف الهلال، عندما تلقى تحية خاصة وكبيرة بدأت من تدريبات الإحماء حتى نهاية اللقاء الذي جمع الهلال والغرافة ضمن افتتاحية المشوار ببطولة آسيا للنخبة، على ملعب المملكة أرينا.
وحملت المباراة رسالة خاصة للاعب بدأت من مدرجات المملكة أرينا، قبل أن تنتقل إلى أرض الملعب مع بداية الشوط الثاني، ليصبح نيفيز بطل مشهد جمع بين الدعم الجماهيري والرد بالكرة خلال أحداث الشوط الأول.
ورددت جماهير الهلال اسم نيفيز في الدقيقة الثامنة، في إشارة إلى رقم قميصه، كما ظهر تيفو لدعم الدولي البرتغالي، في أول مباراة يخوضها فريقه على ملعبه بعد الأحداث التي شهدتها مواجهة التعاون الأخيرة.
وفي الدقيقة 45+3، تحصل الهلال على ركلة جزاء، ليتقدم نيفيز لتنفيذها وينجح في تسجيل هدف التقدم، مضيفاً ركلة جديدة إلى واحد من أكثر السجلات ثباتاً في مسيرته مع الزعيم.
واقعة جوتا
بدأت القصة خلال فوز الهلال على التعاون 6-0 في بريدة، عندما رددت مجموعة من جماهير أصحاب الأرض اسم البرتغالي الراحل ديوغو جوتا في اتجاه نيفيز، في واقعة أثارت ردود فعل واسعة بالنظر إلى العلاقة التي كانت تجمع اللاعبين.
وكان جوتا أحد أقرب أصدقاء نيفيز، إذ تزامل الثنائي في بورتو وولفرهامبتون ومنتخب البرتغال، وكان لاعب الهلال أحد حاملي نعش مواطنه خلال جنازته عقب وفاته مع شقيقه أندريه سيلفا في حادثة سير بإسبانيا خلال يوليو 2025.
ورد نيفيز خلال المباراة بالإشارة إلى السماء، قبل أن يعلق عقب اللقاء على ما حدث، بينما اتسع نطاق القضية في الساعات التالية، وأعلن الهلال تقديم شكوى رسمية إلى الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم بشأن الهتافات.
كما أدان الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ورابطة دوري روشن الواقعة، فيما تدخل كريستيانو رونالدو لدعم مواطنه، وطالب بمنع المسؤولين عن مثل تلك الهتافات من دخول الملاعب مدى الحياة، معتبراً أن استغلال وفاة جوتا في استفزاز نيفيز أمر لا يمكن قبوله.
ولم تتوقف القضية عند حدود الإدانات، إذ قررت لجنة الانضباط والأخلاق بالاتحاد السعودي، يوم الثلاثاء 15 سبتمبر، معاقبة التعاون بخوض مباراتيه القادمتين على أرضه في دوري روشن دون حضور جماهيري، إلى جانب فرض غرامة مالية على النادي بسبب الواقعة.
الدقيقة 8
قبل مواجهة الغرافة انتشرت بين جماهير الهلال دعوات لتخصيص الدقيقة الثامنة من المباراة لدعم نيفيز، واختير الرقم تحديداً لارتباطه بالقميص الذي يرتديه اللاعب مع الفريق.
وتحولت المبادرة إلى مشهد فعلي داخل المملكة أرينا، بعدما رددت المدرجات اسم لاعب الوسط البرتغالي عند وصول المباراة إلى الدقيقة 8، في رسالة جاءت بعد 3 أيام فقط من واقعة التعاون.
لكن الجزء الآخر من القصة كتبه نيفيز بنفسه قبل الاستراحة. فمع حصول الهلال على ركلة جزاء، تقدم صاحب القميص رقم 8 للتنفيذ، ووضع الكرة في الشباك.

عزز هذا الهدف سجل روبن نيفيز اللافت من ركلات الجزاء مع الهلال، إذ رفع حصيلته إلى 19 ركلة ناجحة من أصل 21 محاولة في مختلف البطولات، بنسبة نجاح بلغت نحو 90.5%.
كما حافظ البرتغالي على العلامة الكاملة خلال الموسم الحالي 2026-27، بعدما سجل بقميص «الزعيم» الركلات الخمس التي نفذها أمام الفيصلي «مرتين»، والرائد، والشباب، والغرافة.
ويمتد تفوق نيفيز من علامة الجزاء إلى مسيرته الاحترافية كاملة، بعدما أصبح رصيده 29 ركلة ناجحة من أصل 32 محاولة، بنسبة 90.6%، مقابل 3 ركلات مهدرة فقط، اثنتان منها بقميص الهلال، والأخرى مع وولفرهامبتون في 2017.
A historic night that will remain etched in the memory of international Portuguese star Ruben Neves, who plays for Al-Hilal, when he received a special and grand tribute that started from the warm-up training until the end of the match between Al-Hilal and Al-Gharafa as part of the opening of the elite Asian Championship, at the Kingdom Arena.
The match carried a special message for the player that began from the stands of the Kingdom Arena, before it moved to the pitch at the start of the second half, making Neves the hero of a scene that combined fan support and a response with the ball during the events of the first half.
The Al-Hilal fans chanted Neves's name in the eighth minute, in reference to his shirt number, and a tifo appeared to support the international Portuguese player in the first match his team played at home after the events that took place during the recent match against Al-Taawoun.
In the 45+3 minute, Al-Hilal was awarded a penalty kick, and Neves stepped up to take it, successfully scoring the opening goal, adding another penalty to one of the most consistent records in his career with the leader.
The Jota Incident
The story began during Al-Hilal's 6-0 victory over Al-Taawoun in Buraidah, when a group of home fans chanted the name of the late Portuguese player Diogo Jota in the direction of Neves, an incident that sparked widespread reactions considering the relationship that existed between the players.
Jota was one of Neves's closest friends, as the duo played together at Porto, Wolverhampton, and the Portugal national team. Neves was one of the pallbearers at his compatriot's funeral following his death along with his brother Andre Silva in a car accident in Spain in July 2025.
Neves responded during the match by pointing to the sky, before commenting after the match on what happened, while the issue expanded in the following hours, and Al-Hilal announced it would file an official complaint to the Saudi Football Federation regarding the chants.
The Saudi Football Federation and the Roshen League also condemned the incident, while Cristiano Ronaldo intervened to support his compatriot, calling for those responsible for such chants to be banned from entering stadiums for life, considering the exploitation of Jota's death to provoke Neves unacceptable.
The issue did not stop at condemnations, as the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Federation decided on Tuesday, September 15, to punish Al-Taawoun by playing their next two home matches in the Roshen League without fans, in addition to imposing a financial fine on the club due to the incident.
The 8th Minute
Before the match against Al-Gharafa, calls spread among Al-Hilal fans to dedicate the eighth minute of the match to support Neves, with the number specifically chosen due to its association with the shirt worn by the player with the team.
The initiative turned into an actual scene inside the Kingdom Arena, as the stands chanted the name of the Portuguese midfielder when the match reached the 8th minute, in a message that came just three days after the Al-Taawoun incident.
However, the other part of the story was written by Neves himself before the break. With Al-Hilal awarded a penalty kick, the player wearing shirt number 8 stepped up to take it and placed the ball in the net.
The goal gains additional significance considering Neves's record from the penalty spot, as he has become one of the most reliable options for Al-Hilal in taking penalties since joining the club in the summer of 2023.
