وأحرز رونالدو الهدف الافتتاحي من ركلة جزاء في الدقيقة السابعة، ثم صنع الهدف الرابع لزميله السنغالي ساديو ماني في الشوط الثاني.
مفاجأة في الاحتفال
على مر السنين، اعتاد المشجعون على رؤية احتفال رونالدو الشهير «سي»، وهو احتفال مميز يظهر فيه وهو يركض ويقفز قبل أن يقوم بدوران 180 درجة ويهبط بوقفة قوية، لكن في ليلة الأربعاء، قدم «الدون» حركة جديدة للجمهور.
وبعد أن سدد قائد النصر ركلة الجزاء بنجاح، ركض اللاعب البالغ من العمر 41 عاماً نحو الراية الركنية ورفع يده في الهواء، وبينما كان الكثيرون يتوقعون رؤية احتفاله المعتاد، فاجأ الجميع بالقفز وتحريك معصمه، محاكياً تسديدة كرة السلة.

وبحسب صحيفة «ojogo» البرتغالية، فإن رونالدو قلد بشكل ساخر التيفو الذي رفعته جماهير الهلال في الكلاسيكو ضد الاتحاد، والذي جسد رمية ثلاثية لنجم كرة السلة الأمريكي ستيفن كاري.
فيما فسر آخرون أن احتفال رونالدو جاء للسخرية من تصريحات نجم الهلال روبن نيفيز، الذي انتقد التحكيم عقب تعادل فريقه مع التعاون، قائلاً: «شاهدت لاعبين يلمسون الكرة داخل منطقة الجزاء وكأنها كرة سلة أو كرة يد، والحكم يذهب لتقنية الفيديو ولا يحتسب شيئاً».

According to the Portuguese newspaper "ojogo," Ronaldo sarcastically imitated the tifo raised by Al-Hilal fans during the clásico against Al-Ittihad, which depicted a three-point shot by American basketball star Stephen Curry.
Others interpreted Ronaldo's celebration as a mockery of comments made by Al-Hilal star Ruben Neves, who criticized the refereeing after his team's draw with Al-Taawoun, saying: "I saw players touching the ball in the penalty area as if it were basketball or handball, and the referee goes to VAR and doesn't call anything."
