ثمّن الاتحاد الآسيوي للدراجات جهود الاتحاد السعودي للدراجات في التنظيم المميز لبطولة آسيا لدراجات الطريق 2026، التي استضافتها منطقة القصيم في الفترة من 5 إلى 13 فبراير الجاري، بمشاركة نحو 700 رياضي ورياضية مثلوا 30 دولة آسيوية.
وأشار الاتحاد الآسيوي إلى أن جميع جوانب البطولة، من العمليات الفنية وسلامة السباقات إلى اللوجستيات وحسن الضيافة وتنسيق الإعلام، نُفِّذَت باحترافية عالية، مع التنسيق السلس بين اللجنة المنظمة والجهات المحلية والشركاء، مما أسهم في إقامة بطولة ناجحة وفق أعلى المعايير المعتمدة لدى الاتحادين الدولي والآسيوي.
وأشار إلى أن الحدث أبرز القوة المتنامية والقدرة الكبيرة للمملكة في استضافة البطولات القارية الكبرى، مع تعزيز الوحدة والصداقة بين دول آسيا في مجال الدراجات ورفع مكانة سباقات الطريق على مستوى القارة، مبدياً تقديره للجنة المنظمة وجميع الجهات المساهمة في نجاح الحدث القاري، متطلعاً إلى استمرار التعاون المثمر مع الاتحاد السعودي ومتابعة المزيد من الإنجازات في تطوير رياضة الدراجات في المملكة.
The Asian Cycling Confederation praised the efforts of the Saudi Cycling Federation in the outstanding organization of the 2026 Asian Road Cycling Championships, which took place in the Al-Qassim region from February 5 to 13, with the participation of around 700 male and female athletes representing 30 Asian countries.
The Asian Confederation noted that all aspects of the championship, from technical operations and race safety to logistics, hospitality, and media coordination, were executed with high professionalism, with smooth coordination between the organizing committee, local authorities, and partners, contributing to a successful championship held to the highest standards recognized by both the International and Asian federations.
It pointed out that the event highlighted the growing strength and significant capability of the Kingdom in hosting major continental championships, while enhancing unity and friendship among Asian countries in the field of cycling and elevating the status of road racing at the continental level. It expressed appreciation for the organizing committee and all parties involved in the success of the continental event, looking forward to continued fruitful cooperation with the Saudi Federation and further achievements in the development of cycling in the Kingdom.
