ثمَّن وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل في الحكومة اليمنية مختار اليافعي الدعم السخي الأخير المعلن من قبل السعودية، موضحاً في تصريح خاص إلى «عكاظ» أن هذا الدعم يشكل رافعة حقيقية لتمكين مؤسسات الدولة من الاضطلاع بواجباتها بكفاءة واقتدار، ويعمل على الارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين.
▪️إسناد لميزانية الحكومة
وقال إن الدعم السعودي الأخير المعلن بمبلغ 1.3 مليار ريال يأتي في توقيت مهم وظروف بالغة الصعوبة تمر بها البلاد، مضيفاً أن الدعم السعودي يحمل رسالة واضحة تعكس عمق العلاقات الأخوية، وتعزز مناخ الثقة والاستقرار، مشيراً إلى ما يمثله هذا الدعم من أهمية محورية على طريق التعافي الاقتصادي بما يتضمنه من إسناد للموازنة العامة، وتأمين للمرتبات ونفقات الحكومة، وتعزيز للخدمات العامة، وترسيخ لدعائم الأمن والاستقرار.
▪️ نثمن مواقف المملكة
وأعرب وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية مختار اليافعي في سياق حديثه لـ«عكاظ» عن تقديره لقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية ممثلة بخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان، وشعبها الكريم على ما يجسدونه من مواقف داعمة وثابتة.
وقال إن المسؤولية اليوم مضاعفة على الجميع للارتقاء بمستوى الأداء، وترجمة هذه الثقة إلى نتائج ملموسة يشعر بها المواطن وصونها بالعمل الجاد والالتزام بتلبية تطلعات المواطنين.
▪️مسؤوليات الحكومة
وأكد أنه أمام الحكومة مسؤوليات كبيرة في المضي في تنفيذ الإصلاحات الشاملة التي يتطلع إليها المواطنون والاستفادة من الدعم السعودي في تحقيق التعافي الاقتصادي والنهوض بواقع البلد والعمل على تحسين مستوى الخدمات، مشيراً إلى أن الأولويات لديه تتمثل بالارتقاء بواقع وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل للقيام بواجباتها وتعزيز حضورها الفاعل في خدمة المواطنين، وتعزيز منظومة الحماية الاجتماعية وخدمة الفئات الأشد فقراً، مؤكداً حرصه على تعزيز العمل داخل الوزارة ومؤسساتها بروح الفريق الواحد وبشراكة فاعلة مع كوادر الوزارة والهيئات التابعة لها، ومع الاتحادات والنقابات ومنظمات المجتمع المدني من أجل النهوض بمهام الوزارة، والارتقاء بواقع العمل الاجتماعي والعمالي.
The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor in the Yemeni government, Mukhtar Al-Yafai, praised the generous recent support announced by Saudi Arabia, explaining in a special statement to "Okaz" that this support represents a real boost for enabling state institutions to fulfill their duties efficiently and effectively, and works to elevate the level of services provided to citizens.
▪️Support for the Government's Budget
He stated that the recent Saudi support announced in the amount of 1.3 billion riyals comes at an important time and under extremely difficult circumstances the country is experiencing, adding that the Saudi support carries a clear message reflecting the depth of brotherly relations and enhances the atmosphere of trust and stability, pointing to the pivotal importance of this support on the path to economic recovery, which includes support for the general budget, securing salaries and government expenses, enhancing public services, and reinforcing the foundations of security and stability.
▪️We Appreciate the Kingdom's Stances
The Minister of Social Affairs, Mukhtar Al-Yafai, expressed in his remarks to "Okaz" his appreciation for the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and its generous people for the supportive and steadfast positions they embody.
He stated that the responsibility today is multiplied for everyone to elevate the level of performance and translate this trust into tangible results that citizens can feel, safeguarding it through hard work and commitment to meet the aspirations of the citizens.

He emphasized that the government has significant responsibilities in proceeding with the implementation of the comprehensive reforms that citizens aspire to and benefiting from the Saudi support in achieving economic recovery and improving the country's reality and working to enhance the level of services, noting that his priorities include elevating the reality of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to fulfill its duties and enhance its effective presence in serving citizens, strengthening the social protection system, and serving the most impoverished groups. He affirmed his commitment to enhancing work within the ministry and its institutions in a spirit of teamwork and effective partnership with the ministry's staff and its affiliated bodies, as well as with unions, syndicates, and civil society organizations to advance the ministry's tasks and improve the reality of social and labor work.
