يعود المنتخب السعودي إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، تحت قيادة المدرب الفرنسي هيرفي رينارد بعد غياب دام أكثر من ثلاثة عقود، في محطة جديدة ضمن مونديال كأس العالم 2026.
وتأتي هذه العودة بعد مرور 32 عامًا على آخر مشاركة للأخضر في أمريكا عام 1994، عندما خاض أولى مشاركاته التاريخية في كأس العالم هناك، وحقق إنجازًا بارزًا بالوصول إلى دور الـ16.
ويهدف رينارد من هذه العودة إلى استعادة الروح القتالية التي تميّز بها المنتخب في تلك البطولة، إضافة إلى تجربة مجموعة من العناصر الشابة ورفع مستوى الجاهزية الفنية والبدنية قبيل انطلاق المونديال.
ويترقب الجمهور السعودي أداء المنتخب في المونديال القادم، وسط آمال بأن تكون العودة إلى أمريكا فأل خيرٍ كما كانت في التسعينيات، حين كتب الأخضر واحدة من أجمل صفحات تاريخه الكروي.

The Saudi national team returns to the United States of America, under the leadership of French coach Hervé Renard, after an absence of more than three decades, in a new stop as part of the 2026 World Cup.
This return comes 32 years after the Green's last participation in America in 1994, when they made their historic debut in the World Cup there and achieved a notable accomplishment by reaching the Round of 16.
Renard aims with this return to restore the fighting spirit that characterized the team in that tournament, in addition to testing a group of young players and raising the level of technical and physical readiness ahead of the World Cup.
The Saudi audience is eagerly awaiting the team's performance in the upcoming World Cup, with hopes that the return to America will be a good omen, just as it was in the 1990s, when the Green wrote one of the most beautiful chapters in its football history.
