قدم هيرفي رينارد مدرب المنتخب السعودي التهنئة بالتأهل لوزير الرياضة واتحاد القدم السعودي برئاسة ياسر المسحل، مقدماً شكره لعائلته التي دعمته كثيراً وللإعلاميين كافة على العودة من جديد لقيادة المنتخب السعودي.
كما بارك رينارد للمدرج الكبير الذي أبهره بالتشجيع والدعم خلال مباراة العراق، مؤكداً حرصه وفريق العمل على مواصلة العمل والتقدم مع هذا الجيل الرائع.
وأضاف رينارد في ختام حديثه: «مباراة العراق كانت الأهم في مسيرتي، لأن والدتي توفيت في يناير وقالت لي: لن أكون معك في المونديال القادم، ولذلك أكدت أن هذه المباراة هي الأهم في مسيرتي التدريبية».
