أعلن الحساب الرسمي للمنتخب الصربي أن حارس منتخب صربيا ونادي الاتحاد السعودي بريدراج رايكوفيتش سيغيب عن مواجهة أندورا، المقررة يوم الثلاثاء ضمن تصفيات كأس العالم، بعد شعوره بآلام في الفخذ الأيمن، في الموضع نفسه الذي خضع فيه لعملية جراحية قبل 4 أشهر.
وأوضح المنتخب الصربي أن استبعاد رايكوفيتش جاء كإجراء احترازي، تفادياً لأي مضاعفات قد تؤثر على حالته البدنية، خصوصاً أنه ما زال في مرحلة متابعة التأهيل الكامل بعد العملية الأخيرة.
ويُعد رايكوفيتش من الركائز الأساسية في صفوف المنتخب الصربي ونادي الاتحاد، حيث قدّم مستويات مميزة قبل أن تعاوده الآلام العضلية مجدداً.
