كتب لاعب منتخبنا الوطني صالح أبو الشامات شهادة ميلاده مع المنتخب بتسجيل هدفه الأول خلال مباراته الدولية الرابعة مع «الأخضر» أمام منتخب إندونيسيا، إذ أرسل كرة قذيفة لا تصد ولا ترد في المرمى الإندونيسي عند الدقيقة 17 من الشوط الأول، مسجلاً هدف التعادل، وقدم أبوالشامات مستوى مميزاً وهدد مرمى المنتخب الإندونيسي بأكثر من كرة.
يذكر أن أبو الشامات تم استدعاؤه من قبل مدرب المنتخب هيرفي رينارد للمرة الأولى خلال فترة التوقف الدولي في سبتمبر الماضي، حيث لعب «الأخضر» مباراتين وديتين أمام التشيك ومقدونيا الشمالية.
وخلال هذا الموسم لعب أبو الشامات بقميص فريقه الأهلي 8 مباريات عبر كل المسابقات، بإجمالي عدد دقائق بلغ 253 دقيقة، واستطاع تقديم تمريرة حاسمة لفريقه. وكان أبو الشامات قد انتقل للنادي الأهلي خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية 2025، قادما من نادي الخليج، ويُعد أحد أبناء أكاديمية النادي الأهلي، حيث نشأ وتدرّج في فئاته السنية قبل أن يخوض تجارب احترافية خارج أسوار النادي، ليعود مجدداً.

During this season, Abu Al-Shamat played 8 matches for his team Al-Ahli across all competitions, with a total of 253 minutes played, and he managed to provide one assist for his team. Abu Al-Shamat had transferred to Al-Ahli during the summer transfer window of 2025, coming from Al-Khaleej Club, and he is considered one of the sons of Al-Ahli Academy, where he grew up and progressed through its age categories before experiencing professional stints outside the club, only to return again.
