انتهت مباراة الشباب السعودي أمام ضيفه النهضة العُماني بالتعادل الإيجابي بهدف لمثله، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما اليوم على ملعب نادي الشباب بالرياض، ضمن الجولة الافتتاحية لدور المجموعات في بطولة دوري أبطال الخليج لكرة القدم.
تقدّم النهضة أولا عن طريق لاعبه حمد الحبسي من ركلة جزاء عند الدقيقة 72، فيما تمكّن الشباب من تعديل النتيجة بواسطة لاعبه جوش براونهيل في الدقيقة الثانية من الوقت بدل الضائع للمباراة.
وشهدت المواجهة طرد حارس مرمى الشباب مارسيلو غروهي عند الدقيقة 61، ليكمل الفريق المباراة بعشرة لاعبين، وبهذا التعادل، حصد الفريقان نقطة واحدة في بداية مشوارهما بالبطولة، بانتظار استكمال منافسات الجولة الأولى.
