The Saudi Professional League Association has renewed its confirmation of the regulations and criteria it has adopted for selecting the monthly best awards presented by "Roshn" and the best awards for the 2025-2026 sports season, as previously announced, as part of an approach that reinforces integrity, intensifies competition, and motivates players and coaches to deliver their best performances throughout the season.

The technical team overseeing the evaluation consists of 5 experts: Turki Al-Sultan (the rapporteur), Sultan Al-Luhayani, Khalid Al-Shneif, Manaf Abu Shaqir, and Obaidullah Al-Essi.

The newly adopted criteria include a mechanism for calculating points for the best goalkeeper and best promising player, which is limited to Saudi and born players, as well as the best Saudi player, best player of the sports season, and best coach, along with details of the nomination mechanism for the awards.

The Saudi Professional League Association presented the awards for the 2024-2025 sports season, where the winners received their awards during the first match held at their clubs' grounds, which occurred during the first round of this season. The captain of Al-Hilal, Salem Al-Dosari, received the award for best Saudi player for the previous season before the start of his team's match against Al-Riyadh, while the Golden Glove award was given to Al-Qadisiyah's goalkeeper, Kevin Casteels, and the best emerging player award went to player Musab Al-Juwair during the match between their team, Al-Qadisiyah, and Al-Najma.

The association intends to present the remaining awards for the previous season 2024-2025 during the second round of this season's league 2025-2026. Tomorrow (Friday), the best player award will be presented to the captain of Al-Ittihad, French player Karim Benzema, and the best coach award to his compatriot, Al-Ittihad coach Laurent Blanc, during the match between Al-Ittihad and Al-Fateh, as it is the first match on Al-Ittihad's home ground in the Roshn League 2025-2026. Additionally, the Golden Boot award will be given to the captain of Al-Nasr, Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, which he will receive next Sunday before the match between Al-Nasr and Al-Khulood, as it is the first match for Al-Nasr at their home stadium this season.

The monthly best awards presented by "Roshn" and the best awards for the sports season reflect the Saudi Professional League Association's appreciation for this achievement and its efforts to motivate players and coaches to deliver the best technical performance, contributing to raising the level of competition among clubs.
