بدأ فريق النصر مشواره في دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين بانتصار قوي على مضيفه التعاون بخماسية نظيفة، وذلك في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية ببريدة.
وأحرز أهداف النصر الخمسة كل من: جواو فيليكس (هاتريك 7، 67، 89)، كريستيانو رونالدو (من ركلة جزاء 54)، كينغسلي كومان (د: 55).
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية لفريق النصر فبعد مرور 7 دقائق فقط افتتح البرتغالي جواو فيليكس مسلسل الأهداف بعد أن تبادل أنجيلو غابرييل الكرة مع أيمن يحيى ليدخل أنجيلو منطقة ال 18 ويمررها لجواو فيليكس الذي سددها مباشرة على يسار الحارس عبدالقدوس عطية كهدف أول للنصر (د: 7)، وفي الشوط الثاني تحصل فريق النصر على ركلة جزاء بعد أن لعب نواف بوشل كرة عرضية ارتطمت في يد المدافع وليد الأحمد ليتقدم القائد كريستيانو رونالدو ليسددها بنجاح في المرمى كهدف ثانٍ للنصر (د: 54)، وبعد دقيقة واحدة فقط لعب حارس النصر نواف العقيدي كرة طويلة لزميله كينغسلي كومان ليغمزها الأخير برأسه من فوق حارس التعاون كهدف ثالث للنصر (د: 54)، وعاد جواو فيليكس للتألق مجدداً ويتلقى تمريرة من ساديو ماني ليسددها فيليكس قوية في المرمى كهدف رابع للنصر (د: 67)، وكاد أنجيلو غابرييل أن يضاعف النتيجة ولكن تسديدته ارتطمت في العارضة، وكانت آخر الأهداف النصراوية جاءت من جواو فيليكس الذي تابع تسديدة زميله رونالدو كريستيانو حيث ارتطمت كرته في العارضة ليضعها فيليكس في المرمى كهدف شخصي ثالث وخامس لفريقه (د: 89)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز النصر بخماسية نظيفة.
وبهذه النتيجة يحصد النصر أول ثلاث نقاط له ويتصدر جدول الترتيب، وسيلاقي في الجولة القادمة ضيفه الخلود، فيما تلقى التعاون الخسارة الأولى وبقي دون نقاط وسيواجه مضيفه الأخدود في الجولة القادمة.

In the second half, Al-Nasr was awarded a penalty after Nawaf Boshul's cross hit the hand of defender Walid Al-Ahmad. Captain Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to successfully convert it into the net for Al-Nasr's second goal (54'). Just one minute later, Al-Nasr's goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqeedi played a long ball to his teammate Kingsley Coman, who nodded it over the Al-Taawoun goalkeeper for Al-Nasr's third goal (55').
