The situation within the corridors of Al-Qadisiyah has erupted following the decision of the Appeals Committee of the Saudi Football Federation, which declared Al-Hilal the loser in the semi-finals of the Super Cup with a score of (3-0) after its withdrawal from the match against Al-Qadisiyah. Consequently, the Al-Qadisiyah administration demanded to reach the Super Cup final directly. Al-Qadisiyah announced today that it will take all available legal and organizational options to ensure the protection of its sports, financial, and moral rights and interests, in light of the substantial implications resulting from the Appeals Committee's decision in the Saudi Football Federation. The Al-Qadisiyah club, through an official statement, indicated that following the issuance of the Appeals Committee's decision of the Saudi Football Federation No. (1/L E S/2025) dated August 23, 2025, regarding Al-Hilal's withdrawal from the Saudi Super Cup, the club emphasizes the following: "Although we previously objected to the replacement of Al-Hilal with Al-Ahli in the semi-final match of the Saudi Super Cup based on the regulations of the Saudi Football Federation, the Competitions Committee decided to ignore all our requests and the binding provisions of the Saudi Football Federation's regulations and decided to hold the semi-final match between Al-Ahli and Al-Qadisiyah." Al-Qadisiyah added in the same statement: "However, the Appeals Committee has now decided to consider Al-Hilal the loser in the semi-final match against Al-Qadisiyah with a score of (3-0), which confirms the validity of Al-Qadisiyah's legal position from the beginning, thus demonstrating the correct and proper application of the federation's regulations."

The club concluded its statement: "Based on this clear decision, the club will take all available legal and organizational options to ensure the protection of its sports, financial, and moral rights and interests, in light of the substantial implications resulting from this decision."

Al-Okaz had published in its issue dated July 23, 2025, a news article titled (Due to the Super... Al-Ahli's nomination angers Al-Qadisiyah fans), where a large number of Al-Qadisiyah fans expressed their astonishment at the Saudi Football Federation's decision to allow Al-Ahli to participate instead of Al-Hilal in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup after Al-Hilal's withdrawal from the match against Al-Qadisiyah, as the regulations state that Al-Qadisiyah should be declared the winner with a score of (3-0) and qualify directly for the final.
