واصل لاعب المنتخب السعودي للاسكواش محمد آل نصفان تألقه اللافت في بطولة العالم للاسكواش تحت (19) عاماً، المقامة حالياً في العاصمة المصرية القاهرة، بتأهله إلى دور الـ (16)، محققاً إنجازاً غير مسبوق في تاريخ المشاركات السعودية بالبطولة.
وجاء تأهل آل نصفان بعد فوزه في دور الـ (32) على البريطاني دايلن روبرتس، في مواجهة حاسمة عززت حضوره المميز في البطولة التي يشارك فيها (128) لاعباً يمثلون (37) دولة.
وكان آل نصفان قد استهل مشواره في البطولة بانتصار على الجنوب أفريقي جودا فيلبس بنتيجة (3-0)، قبل أن يتجاوز النيوزلندي أوليفر دونبار في دور الـ (64) بنتيجة (3-1).
ويستعد آل نصفان غداً الأربعاء لخوض مواجهة تاريخية في دور الـ (16) أمام الأمريكي كريستيان كابيلا، في لقاء يتطلع من خلاله إلى مواصلة كتابة تاريخ جديد لرياضة الاسكواش السعودية على الساحة العالمية.

The Saudi national squash player Mohammed Al Nasfan continues his remarkable performance in the World Squash Championship under (19) years old, currently held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, by qualifying for the Round of 16, achieving an unprecedented accomplishment in the history of Saudi participation in the tournament.
Al Nasfan's qualification came after his victory in the Round of 32 against the British player Dailen Roberts, in a decisive match that enhanced his impressive presence in the tournament, which features (128) players representing (37) countries.
Al Nasfan began his journey in the tournament with a win over South African Joda Philips with a score of (3-0), before overcoming New Zealander Oliver Dunbar in the Round of 64 with a score of (3-1).
Al Nasfan is preparing tomorrow, Wednesday, for a historic match in the Round of 16 against American Christian Capilla, in a meeting through which he aims to continue writing a new history for Saudi squash on the global stage.
