يشارك المنتخب الوطني السعودي تحت 23 عاماً في الدورة الدولية الودية بأوزبكستان، خلال الفترة من 18 إلى 26 يوليو الجاري، والتي تأتي ضمن برنامج الإعداد لكأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً 2026 التي يستضيفها الأخضر في مدينتي الرياض وجدة.
وتضم الدورة الدولية إلى جانب أخضر 23 عاماً منتخبي أوزبكستان المستضيف، واليابان، وتعد البطولة اختباراً حقيقياً للأخضر الأولمبي لمعرفة مدى استعداده للبطولة القارية التي ستقام على أرضه وبين جماهيره.
واستدعى المدرب الإيطالي لويجي دي بياجو عدداً كبيراً من اللاعبين الذين سيشاركون مع الأخضر للمرة الأولى وهم: عمار العمار، مهند اليحيى، مبارك الراجح، عبدالله الرشيدي، سليمان هزازي،، فيصل الصبياني، فيصل الأسمري، أيمن فلاتة، عبدالكريم دارسي، مراد خضري، فريج الجيزاني، بالإضافة للسباعي محمد الدوسري وعبدالرحمن العبيد وخالد العسيري وبدر العمير وعباس الحسن وماجد عبدالله وفيصل العبدالواحد الذين شاركوا مع المنتخب الأولمبي في آخر بطولة شارك فيها الأخضر وهي بطولة موريس ريفيلو الدولية (تولون) والتي أقيمت الشهر الماضي في فرنسا وحقق فيها منتخبنا الوطني تحت 23 سنة الوصافة بعد خسارته من المنتخب المستضيف في اللقاء الختامي.
وافتتح المنتخب الوطني تحت 23 عاماً مساء اليوم الجمعة تدريباته في العاصمة الأوزبكية طشقند، تحت إشراف المدرب الإيطالي لويجي دي بياجو والجهاز الفني المساعد، طبّق خلالها اللاعبون تمارين لياقية، أعقبها مران تكتيكي.
ويواصل أخضر 23 عاماً غداً السبت تدريباته استعداداً لمواجهة منتخب أوزبكستان يوم الثلاثاء القادم ضمن منافسات الدورة الدولية.

The Saudi national team under 23 years old is participating in the international friendly tournament in Uzbekistan, from July 18 to 26, which is part of the preparation program for the 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup that will be hosted by the Green in the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah.
The international tournament includes, in addition to the U-23 Green, the host team Uzbekistan and Japan, and the championship is a real test for the Olympic Green to assess its readiness for the continental tournament that will take place on its home ground and among its fans.
The Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio has called up a large number of players who will participate with the Green for the first time, including: Ammar Al-Amar, Muhannad Al-Yahya, Mubarak Al-Rajeh, Abdullah Al-Rashidi, Suleiman Hazazi, Faisal Al-Sabiani, Faisal Al-Asmeri, Ayman Flatah, Abdulkarim Darsi, Murad Khudari, Farij Al-Jizani, in addition to the seven players Mohammed Al-Dosari, Abdulrahman Al-Obaid, Khalid Al-Asiri, Badr Al-Omair, Abbas Al-Hassan, Majid Abdullah, and Faisal Al-Abdulwahid who participated with the Olympic team in the last tournament the Green took part in, which was the Maurice Revello International Tournament (Toulon) held last month in France, where our national U-23 team finished as runners-up after losing to the host team in the final match.
The national team under 23 years old opened its training session this evening, Friday, in the Uzbek capital Tashkent, under the supervision of the Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio and the assistant coaching staff, during which the players practiced fitness exercises, followed by tactical training.
The U-23 Green will continue its training tomorrow, Saturday, in preparation for facing the Uzbekistan national team next Tuesday as part of the international tournament competitions.
