اختتمت في مدينة أبها تصفيات المنطقة الجنوبية لفنون القتال المختلطة، التي نظمها الاتحاد السعودي لفنون القتال المختلطة، وذلك على صالة مدينة الأمير سلطان الرياضية، بمشاركة مختلف الفئات العمرية، وشهدت التصفيات تنافساً ومستويات فنية في مختلف الأوزان، ضمن ثلاث فئات رئيسية: براعم (12–13 سنة)، ناشئين (14–15 سنة)، ورجال (18 سنة).
وشملت نتائج التصفيات في فئة البراعم (12–13 سنة): لوزن 40 كغم، إذ حقق المركز الأول بتال آل فهيد، والمركز الثاني متعب القحطاني، وفي وزن -52 كغم، حقق المركز الأول عبدالرحمن آل لاحق، والمركز الثاني ظافر آل مريع، وفي المركز الثالث فارس الشهري.
وفي فئة الناشئين (14-15 سنة) لوزن -67 كغم، حقق المركز الأول خالد القحطاني، وفي المركز الثاني فراس الشهري، أما فئة شباب 16-17 سنة، -61.3 كغم، فقد حصل على المركز الأول عبدالإله القحطاني، وفي المركز الثاني بدر السرحاني، والمركز الثالث آبي الغامدي، وفي وزن 70.3 كغم، فقد حقق المركز الأول البراء الأعجم، وفي المركز الثاني عبدالمجيد دفع الله.
وجاء في المركز الأول لفئة الرجال أكثر من 18 سنة وزن 61.3 كجم، عبدالله الخضري، وفي المركز الثاني عبدالرحمن الشيباني، وفي وزن 65.7 كغم، فقد حصل على المركز الأول فيصل آل إبراهيم، والمركز الثاني نواف عبدلي، وجاء في المركز الثالث حلمي عبدالله.
وفي وزن 70.3 كغم، حقق اللاعب حسن عبدالقادر المركز الأول، وجاء ثانياً حسن نصار، وثالثاً أسامة راجحي، وفي وزن 77.1 كغم فقد حصل على المركز الأول محمد المولد، وفي المركز الثاني يونس إبراهيم، وجاء ثالثاً جمال عمر، وفي وزن 83.9 كغم، حصل أيمن عسيري على المركز الأول، وفي المركز الثاني أسامة الغامدي.

The southern region qualifiers for mixed martial arts concluded in the city of Abha, organized by the Saudi Federation for Mixed Martial Arts, at the Prince Sultan Sports City Hall, with participation from various age groups. The qualifiers witnessed competition and artistic levels across different weights, within three main categories: Juniors (12–13 years), Youth (14–15 years), and Men (18 years).
The results of the qualifiers in the Juniors category (12–13 years) for the 40 kg weight saw Batal Al-Fahd take first place, with Muteb Al-Qahtani in second place. In the -52 kg weight, Abdulrahman Al-Lahiq secured first place, followed by Dhafir Al-Muraei in second place, and Faris Al-Shahri in third place.
In the Youth category (14-15 years) for the -67 kg weight, Khalid Al-Qahtani achieved first place, with Firas Al-Shahri in second place. In the Youth category (16-17 years) for the -61.3 kg weight, Abdulilah Al-Qahtani took first place, followed by Badr Al-Sarhani in second place, and Abi Al-Ghamdi in third place. In the 70.3 kg weight, Al-Baraa Al-Ajmi achieved first place, and Abdulmajid Dafallah came in second.
In the Men's category over 18 years for the 61.3 kg weight, Abdullah Al-Khudari took first place, with Abdulrahman Al-Shaibani in second place. In the 65.7 kg weight, Faisal Al-Ibrahim secured first place, followed by Nawaf Abedli in second place, and Hilmi Abdullah in third place.
In the 70.3 kg weight, player Hassan Abdulqader achieved first place, with Hassan Nasar in second place, and Osama Rajhi in third place. In the 77.1 kg weight, Mohammed Al-Mawlid took first place, with Younes Ibrahim in second place, and Jamal Omar in third place. In the 83.9 kg weight, Ayman Asiri secured first place, with Osama Al-Ghamdi in second place.
