حذف لاعب وسط الأهلي والمنتخب السعودي السابق عبد الله عطيف بيان اعتزاله كرة القدم الذي نُشر قبل قليل.
وكتب عطيف عبر خاصية ستوري إنستغرام: «الحساب كان مُهكراً للأسف، استعدته ولله الحمد».
وكان حساب عطيف قد نشر رسالة مطوّلة أعلن فيها اعتزال النجم السعودي، حيث جاء فيها: «في أصعب قرار اتخذته في حياتي، وبعد محاولات عديدة للتغلب على ركبتي، ولكن للأسف هُزمت، الحمد لله على كل حال ولعل في الأمر خيرة يا رب، في سن الـ32 سنة قررت أن اعتزل كرة القدم نهائياً، أود أن أشكر جميع الأجهزة الفنية والإدارية والطبية وزملائي اللاعبين الذي عملت معهم، شكراً أيضاً لجميع زملائي من شاركت معهم المستطيل الأخضر».
وأضاف: «شكراً للجماهير التي لها محبة وتقدير خاص ووقفت جانبي في أصعب الظروف من إصابات وغيرها، أتمنى للجميع دوام التوفيق والنجاح».
Former Al-Ahli and Saudi national team midfielder Abdullah Atif has deleted his retirement statement from football that was published a short while ago.
Atif wrote on his Instagram Story: "Unfortunately, the account was hacked, but I have recovered it, thank God."
Atif's account had posted a lengthy message announcing the retirement of the Saudi star, which stated: "In the hardest decision I have made in my life, and after numerous attempts to overcome my knee issues, I have unfortunately been defeated. Thank God for everything, and perhaps there is good in this, O Lord. At the age of 32, I have decided to retire from football permanently. I would like to thank all the technical, administrative, and medical staff, as well as my fellow players whom I have worked with. Thank you also to all my teammates with whom I shared the green pitch."
He added: "Thank you to the fans who have a special love and appreciation and stood by me in the toughest circumstances, including injuries and others. I wish everyone continued success and prosperity."
