كشفت هيئة السوق المالية في تقرير حديث (اطلعت «عكاظ» عليه) أن الهيئة بصدد إضافة سوق للسلع والمعادن خلال الفترة القادمة، وذلك ضمن البيئة المستهدفة للبنية الأساسية للسوق.
وأعلنت الهيئة بدء استقبال طلبات الترخيص لممارسة أعمال سوق السلع والمعادن في السوق السعودية حتى تاريخ 31 أكتوبر 2026.
ووفقاً للتقرير، أقرت الهيئة بالموافقة على عدم تخصيص عمولة لها من بيع وشراء الورقة المالية المتداولة في سوق السلع والمعادن لفترة 3 سنوات من تاريخ بدء ممارستها لأعمال السوق المرخص لها، بهدف دعم السوق الجديدة المرخص لها في المملكة للقيام بأعمال السوق في مراحلها الأولى.
وستقوم الهيئة في بداية شهر سبتمبر القادم بنشر الإجابات عن الأسئلة والاستفسارات الواردة إليها في موقعها الإلكتروني، التي تتمحور حول طلبات الترخيص لممارسة أعمال سوق السلع والمعادن في المملكة محل الفترة الحالية لتقديم طلبات الترخيص.
وسيتم خلال شهري نوفمبر وديسمبر من العام الحالي مراجعة كافة طلبات الترخيص المقدمة وفقاً لإجراءات وصلاحيات الهيئة في ما يتعلق بطلب الترخيص المنصوص عليها في لائحة أسواق ومراكز إيداع الأوراق المالية.
وستقوم الهيئة بإشعار المتقدم بقرارها خلال الربع الأول من عام 2027، وعليه بدء ممارسة العمل إلى الربع الأول من عام 2028.
The Capital Market Authority revealed in a recent report (which "Okaz" reviewed) that the authority is in the process of adding a commodities and metals market in the upcoming period, as part of the targeted environment for the market's infrastructure.
The authority announced the start of receiving licensing applications to operate in the commodities and metals market in the Saudi market until October 31, 2026.
According to the report, the authority approved not to allocate a commission for itself from the buying and selling of securities traded in the commodities and metals market for a period of 3 years from the date it begins its licensed market operations, with the aim of supporting the newly licensed market in the Kingdom to conduct market activities in its initial stages.
At the beginning of September, the authority will publish responses to the questions and inquiries received on its website, which revolve around the licensing applications to operate in the commodities and metals market in the Kingdom during the current period for submitting licensing applications.
During the months of November and December of this year, all submitted licensing applications will be reviewed according to the authority's procedures and powers regarding the licensing application as stipulated in the regulations of markets and securities deposit centers.
The authority will notify the applicant of its decision during the first quarter of 2027, and accordingly, they will begin operations by the first quarter of 2028.
