Sources revealed to "Okaz" the dissatisfaction of the board of directors of Al-Nasr Club Company regarding the leak of news that emerged after the termination of the contract of Majid Al-Jumaan, the CEO, Bandar Al-Mu'min, the Chief Operating Officer, and Italian Jordi, the commercial director and head of marketing.
The source explained that the leak of the news about Bandar Al-Mu'min's dismissal before he was officially informed put him in an awkward position in front of several club employees, whom he had been asking to carry out various tasks before the news spread on social media and in the media. It was revealed that Al-Mu'min was among those present at the Eid celebration held the Sunday before last at Al-Nasr, amidst the administrative vacuum the club is experiencing during this period.
It is worth mentioning that the decisions of the company's board of directors are voted on and made within a narrow scope that does not exceed the members of the council, which consists of the seven members of the profit company board, with the presence of the Secretary-General of the company council, Mohammed Al-Sukait, who also holds the position of General Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Al-Nasr Club Company.
On another note, as the Al-Nasr supporters search for a new CEO to replace the dismissed Majid Al-Jumaan, a number of names have surfaced that have been circulated on social media, including former football CEOs Ahmad Al-Ghamdi, who currently works at Al-Dhariyah Club as the sports director, and Ahmad Al-Buraiki, who worked at Al-Nasr during the management of Saud Al-Suwailm. The name of Mohammed Al-Sukait, the current Secretary-General of the council at Al-Nasr Company, has also emerged, with media reports revealing that he indicated to those close to him that he would not mind taking on the responsibility of the CEO position instead of Al-Jumaan if the management of Al-Nasr Company desired that.
