توقع المركز الوطني للأرصاد، في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الأربعاء)، استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة، تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، ومصحوبة بزخات من البَرَد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أنه لا يُستبعد تكوّن الضباب على الأجزاء الساحلية من مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والشرقية.
البحر الأحمر
وتكون حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 12-40 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي، وشمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية، تتحول بعد الظهيرة إلى غربية فشمالية غربية بسرعة 12-35 كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط.
أما على الجزء الجنوبي، فتكون الرياح جنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية، تتحول بعد الظهيرة إلى شمالية غربية فشمالية شرقية بسرعة 10-32 كم/ساعة، وتصل سرعتها إلى أكثر من 50 كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج من نصف متر إلى متر ونصف، ويصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج، وتصل إلى مائجة مع السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
الخليج العربي
وفي الخليج العربي، تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة 10-28 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي، وشمالية شرقية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة 8-25 كم/ساعة على الجزء الجنوبي.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج من نصف متر إلى متر، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة الموج."}
The National Center of Meteorology predicted, in its weather report for today (Wednesday), the continuation of moderate to heavy thunderstorm rains, leading to the flow of torrents, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring up dust and sand, over parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah.
The report indicated that fog formation is not ruled out over the coastal areas of the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province.
The Red Sea
The surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 12-40 km/h in the northern part, and northwesterly to southwesterly, shifting after noon to westerly then northwesterly at a speed of 12-35 km/h in the central part.
As for the southern part, the winds are southeasterly to southwesterly, shifting after noon to northwesterly then northeasterly at a speed of 10-32 km/h, reaching speeds of over 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds.
Wave heights range from half a meter to one and a half meters, exceeding two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part, while the sea condition is light to moderate waves, reaching choppy with the thunderstorm rains.
The Arabian Gulf
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds are northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of 10-28 km/h in the northern part, and northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 8-25 km/h in the southern part.
Wave heights range from half a meter to one meter, while the sea condition is light waves.
