The Spanish national team advanced to the final match of the UEFA Nations League, following their thrilling victory (5 / 4) over the French national team in the semi-finals of the continental competition.

In the German city of Stuttgart, Nico Williams opened the scoring for Spain in the (22) minute, before Mikel Merino added the second goal in the (25) minute. Lamine Yamal scored the third goal for Spain in the (54) minute from a penalty, followed by Pedri with the fourth goal just a minute later. However, Kylian Mbappe scored the first goal for France in the (59) minute from a penalty.

Yamal returned to find the net again, scoring the fifth goal for Spain and his second personal goal in the (67) minute. France responded with their second goal through Rayan Cherki in the (79) minute, and the third goal for France came from an own goal by Daniel Vivian, a player of the Spanish team, in the (84) minute. Meanwhile, Randal Kolo Muani scored the fourth goal for France in the third minute of stoppage time in the second half.

Spain, the reigning champion of the UEFA European Championship (Euro 2024), will face Portugal in the final of the continental tournament next Sunday, after Portugal won (2 / 1) against Germany in the other semi-final match.

Meanwhile, France will play against Germany on the same day to determine the third-place winner.
