أبدى أول رئيس لمجلس إدارة نادي القادسية علي البلوشي، سعادته بوصول القادسية إلى نهائي كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، لأول مرة في تاريخه، وأكد البلوشي في حديثه لـ«عكاظ» أن «الجميع يتشرف اليوم بالوجود في نهائي كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين (أغلى الكؤوس) وبإذن الله تعالى يكون الكأس من نصيب نادينا القادسية».
وأضاف: «شرف لنا نحن وشقيقنا نادي الاتحاد الوصول للمباراة النهائية والتشرف بالسلام على راعي المباراة، وإن شاء الله تكون المباراة جميلة بين الفريقين وتليق بهذا المحفل الكبير»، وتابع البلوشي: «إدارة القادسية لم تقصر تجاه الفريق وقدمت كافة التسهيلات للاعبين منذ بداية الموسم الرياضي، وبإذن الله تعالى يكون لاعبو القادسية على قدر المسؤولية الملقاة على عاتقهم ويحققون اللقب الغالي، والآمال والطموحات كبيرة من قبل القدساويين تجاه أغلى الكؤوس».
واختتم البلوشي حديثه: «أتقدم بالشكر والتقدير لشركة أرامكو على الدعم اللامحدود الذي تقدمه لنادي القادسية منذ تملكها للنادي، وحقيقة شاهدنا التغييرات الكبيرة التي حدثت داخل أروقة النادي، وكذلك الألعاب المختلفة وفي مقدمتها فريق كرة القدم الذي حظي بدعم كبير وقوي من قبل إدارة الشركة واستطاع الفريق القدساوي من خلال ذلك الدعم الوصول إلى نهائي كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، والحصول على مركز متقدم في سلم ترتيب الدوري».

The first chairman of the Al-Qadisiyah Club, Ali Al-Balushi, expressed his happiness at Al-Qadisiyah reaching the final of the King Abdulaziz Cup for the first time in its history. Al-Balushi confirmed in his statement to "Okaz" that "everyone is honored today to be present at the final of the King Abdulaziz Cup (the most prestigious cup), and God willing, the cup will be in the hands of our club, Al-Qadisiyah."
He added: "It is an honor for us and our brother club, Al-Ittihad, to reach the final match and to be honored by greeting the sponsor of the match. Hopefully, the match will be beautiful between the two teams and worthy of this grand event." Al-Balushi continued: "The Al-Qadisiyah management has not spared any effort for the team and has provided all the facilities for the players since the beginning of the sports season. God willing, the players of Al-Qadisiyah will be up to the responsibility placed upon them and will achieve the precious title. The hopes and ambitions are high among the Qadisiyah fans regarding the most prestigious cup."
Al-Balushi concluded his remarks: "I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Aramco for the unlimited support it has provided to Al-Qadisiyah Club since acquiring it. In fact, we have witnessed the significant changes that have occurred within the club's corridors, as well as in various sports, especially the football team, which has received strong and substantial support from the company's management. Through that support, the Al-Qadisiyah team was able to reach the final of the King Abdulaziz Cup and achieve a high position in the league standings."
