اختتم المنتخب السعودي للكاراتيه مشاركته في بطولة آسيا للكبار الـ21 رجال وسيدات، وكذلك منتخب ذوي الإعاقة في البطولة الآسيوية الرابعة للباراكاراتيه التي أقيمت في أوزبكستان خلال الفترة 23-25 مايو الجاري محققاً 10 ميداليات (ذهبيتان وثلاث فضيات وخمس برونزيات).
ومثل الأخضر 26 لاعباً ولاعبة في البطولة التي شارك بها 23 منتخباً بإجمالي 445 لاعباً ولاعبة من منتخبات الدول الآسيوية.
وحقق لاعب المنتخب السعودي سند سفياني الميدالية الذهبية لوزن فوق 84، فيما حقق اللاعب محمد العسيري الميدالية الفضية لوزن تحت 67، وحصد لاعب المنتخب للباراكاراتيه مالك قصادي الميدالية الذهبية للكراسي المتحركة، وحقق اللاعب رشيد البريه الميدالية الذهبية للكراسي المتحركة، ونال اللاعب مفيد المرهون الميدالية الفضية لمتلازمة داون، وفي منافسات الإعاقة البصرية نال اللاعب عبدالله الجعيدي الميدالية البرونزية، وحقق اللاعب فارس خوج الميدالية البرونزية لمتلازمة داون، وحصد اللاعب عبدالرحمن الدحيم الميدالية البرونزية في الإعاقة الذهنية.
وفي منافسات السيدات حققت اللاعبتان هند السيالي وشهد الحارثي الميدالية البرونزية في الكراسي المتحركة.

The Saudi karate team concluded its participation in the 21st Asian Championship for Men and Women, as well as the fourth Asian Championship for Para-Karate, which took place in Uzbekistan from May 23 to 25, achieving a total of 10 medals (two gold, three silver, and five bronze).
Twenty-six male and female athletes represented the Green team in the championship, which included 23 teams with a total of 445 athletes from Asian countries.
Saudi team player Sand Sufiani won the gold medal in the over 84 kg category, while player Mohammed Al-Asiri secured the silver medal in the under 67 kg category. Para-karate athlete Malik Qusadi won the gold medal in the wheelchair category, and player Rashid Al-Bariha also won the gold medal in the wheelchair category. Player Mufeed Al-Marhoon earned the silver medal for Down syndrome, and in the visual impairment competitions, player Abdullah Al-Juaidi won the bronze medal. Player Fares Khawj secured the bronze medal for Down syndrome, and player Abdulrahman Al-Duhaim won the bronze medal in the intellectual disability category.
In the women's competitions, athletes Hind Al-Siyali and Shahd Al-Harithi won the bronze medal in the wheelchair category.
