أيدت محكمة الاستئناف الكويتية – دائرة أمن الدولة، حكم محكمة الجنايات القاضي بسجن 3 مواطنين ولبناني لمدة 10 سنوات، مع تغريمهم 6 ملايين دينار، في قضية تتعلق بالانضمام إلى «حزب الله» وتمويله.
وفي قضية أخرى، قضت المحكمة بسجن مواطن 7 سنوات وتغريمه 6 ملايين دينار، بعد إدانته بالتهم ذاتها، إلى جانب تمويل الحزب عبر لجنة خيرية سبق أن صدرت بحق المتهمين فيها أحكام نهائية من محكمة التمييز.
وجاءت الأحكام استناداً إلى ما خلصت إليه المحكمة من ثبوت الاتهامات بحق المتهمين، وفقاً لما ورد في حيثيات الأحكام، وما قدمته الجهات الأمنية ووحدة التحريات المالية من أدلة في القضية.
The Kuwaiti Court of Appeals - State Security Division, upheld the Criminal Court's ruling sentencing 3 citizens and a Lebanese national to 10 years in prison, along with a fine of 6 million dinars, in a case related to joining and financing "Hezbollah."
In another case, the court sentenced a citizen to 7 years in prison and fined him 6 million dinars, after convicting him of the same charges, in addition to financing the party through a charitable committee for which final rulings had previously been issued against the defendants by the Court of Cassation.
The rulings were based on the court's findings regarding the validity of the charges against the defendants, according to what was stated in the grounds of the rulings, and the evidence presented by the security agencies and the Financial Investigations Unit in the case.
