تمكن فريق طبي متخصص بقسم جراحة التجميل في مستشفيات سوهاج الجامعية بمصر من استئصال ورم دهني ضخم من أعلى ظهر مريض يبلغ من العمر 42 عاماً، بعد معاناة استمرت لنحو 3 سنوات.
وبحسب تقارير محلية، بلغ وزن الورم بعد استئصاله نحو 15 كيلوغراماً، فيما نجح الفريق الجراحي في إزالته بالكامل، بعد إخضاع المريض للفحوصات والتقييم الطبي اللازمين والتأكد من جاهزيته للتدخل الجراحي.
وأوضحت جامعة سوهاج أن نجاح العملية يعكس إمكانات المستشفيات الجامعية وقدرتها على التعامل مع الحالات الجراحية الدقيقة، في ظل توافر الكوادر الطبية المتخصصة والتجهيزات اللازمة لتقديم الرعاية العلاجية.
وقبل إجراء الجراحة، خضع المريض لفحوصات شاملة وتقييم طبي لتحديد خطوات التدخل وضمان سلامته أثناء العملية، فيما استمرت متابعته بعد استئصال الورم وفق الإجراءات والبروتوكولات الطبية المعتمدة.
A specialized medical team in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Sohag University Hospitals in Egypt successfully removed a large lipoma from the upper back of a 42-year-old patient, after suffering for nearly 3 years.
According to local reports, the weight of the tumor after removal was about 15 kilograms, while the surgical team succeeded in completely excising it, after subjecting the patient to necessary examinations and medical evaluations to ensure readiness for the surgical intervention.
Sohag University explained that the success of the operation reflects the capabilities of university hospitals and their ability to handle delicate surgical cases, given the availability of specialized medical staff and the necessary equipment to provide therapeutic care.
Before the surgery, the patient underwent comprehensive examinations and medical evaluations to determine the steps of the intervention and ensure safety during the operation, while his follow-up continued after the tumor removal according to the approved medical procedures and protocols.
