أكد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب إن الحرب مع إيران «دخلت مراحلها الأخيرة»، مشيراً إلى أن طهران تسعى إلى التوصل لاتفاق ينهي الصراع.
وشدد على أن أي اتفاق مع إيران يجب أن يتوافق مع الشروط التي تراها واشنطن مناسبة، مشدداً على أنه لن يقبل بتفاهم لا يحقق ما تعتبره الولايات المتحدة شروطاً ملائمة.
وأوضح أن مسؤولين إيرانيين يواصلون التواصل سعياً للتوصل إلى اتفاق، في وقت تتجه الجهود الدبلوماسية نحو إيجاد مخرج للصراع.
وتأتي تصريحات ترمب وسط تحركات واتصالات إقليمية ودولية تستهدف خفض حدة التوتر وإعادة فتح مسار التفاوض.
