تُقام غدا (الجمعة) منافسات الملحق «بلاي أوف» المؤهل إلى الدوري السعودي للمحترفين لكرة القدم، الذي تتنافس فيه 4 أندية على بطاقة الصعود الثالثة من دوري الدرجة الأولى للمحترفين لكرة القدم.
وتُوج نيوم بلقب دوري الدرجة الأولى، وحل النجمة ثانيًا، لينالا بطاقتي الصعود الأولى والثانية لدوري المحترفين، وتبقت بطاقة أخيرة يتنافس عليها 4 أندية هي الحزم والعدالة والبكيرية والطائي، التي احتلت المراكز المؤهلة إلى «البلاي أوف». وحضرت أندية الحزم والعدالة والبكيرية في المراكز الثالث والخامس والسادس على الترتيب، وتأهل الطائي «صاحب المركز السابع» إلى الملحق بدلًا من الجبلين «صاحب المركز الرابع» لعدم استيفائه معايير رخصة أندية دوري المحترفين.
ووفقًا لنظام «البلاي أوف»، سيلتقي الحزم مع الطائي، ويتواجه العدالة مع البكيرية غدًا في نصف نهائي الملحق، والفائزان سيتواجهان في النهائي الذي سيُقام بملعب الفريق الأفضل ترتيبًا بين طرفي المباراة النهائية.
ويستقبل العدالة ضيفه البكيرية في نصف النهائي الأول، على ملعب مدينة الأمير عبدالله بن جلوي الرياضية بالأحساء.
وأنهى الفريقان مشوارهما في دوري الدرجة الأولى في المركزين الخامس والسادس وبنفس رصيد النقاط (58 نقطة) لكل منهما، بيد أن تفوق العدالة في المواجهات المباشرة، منحه الأفضلية في الترتيب ليستضيف مواجهة نصف نهائي «البلاي أوف» على ملعبه.
وفاز العدالة على البكيرية في الجولة الأولى من دوري الأولى بهدفين نظيفين، وهي ذات النتيجة التي حسم بها لقاء العودة على ملعب البكيرية لحساب الجولة الـ 18.
وعلى ملعبه في الرس، يستقبل الحزم ضيفه الطائي، في ثاني مباريات نصف نهائي، إذ يملك الحزم فرصة للصعود إلى دوري المحترفين، لا سيما أنه في حال فوزه سيخوض نهائي «البلاي أوف» على ملعبه بوصفه الأفضل ترتيبًا بين أندية الملحق.
وحسم الحزم مباراة الدور الأول من دوري الدرجة الأولى، أمام الطائي بالفوز خارج الديار 2 - 1، قبل أن يتعادلا في الدور الثاني على ملعب الحزم بهدف لكل منهما، ويسعى الفريقان للعودة سريعًا إلى دوري المحترفين، بعد أن كانا بين أنديته في الموسم الماضي (2023 - 2024)، وأنهياه في المركزين الأخيرين وهبطا بالتالي إلى دوري الدرجة الأولى.

Tomorrow (Friday), the playoff matches for qualification to the Saudi Professional League will take place, where 4 clubs are competing for the third promotion spot from the first division of professional football.
Neom was crowned the champion of the first division, while Al-Najma finished second, securing the first and second promotion spots to the Professional League. There remains one final spot contested by 4 clubs: Al-Hazm, Al-Adalah, Al-Bukayriyah, and Al-Taee, which occupied the qualifying positions for the playoffs. Al-Hazm, Al-Adalah, and Al-Bukayriyah finished in third, fifth, and sixth places respectively, while Al-Taee, in seventh place, qualified for the playoff instead of Al-Jubail, which finished fourth, due to not meeting the professional league club licensing criteria.
According to the playoff system, Al-Hazm will face Al-Taee, and Al-Adalah will meet Al-Bukayriyah tomorrow in the semifinals, with the winners set to clash in the final, which will be held at the home ground of the higher-ranked team in the final match.
Al-Adalah will host Al-Bukayriyah in the first semifinal at the Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium in Al-Ahsa.
Both teams finished their journey in the first division in fifth and sixth places, each with the same points total (58 points). However, Al-Adalah's superiority in direct confrontations granted it the advantage in ranking, allowing it to host the playoff semifinal at its home ground.
Al-Adalah defeated Al-Bukayriyah in the first round of the first division with a score of 2-0, which was the same result that decided the return match at Al-Bukayriyah's ground in the 18th round.
At their home ground in Al-Rass, Al-Hazm will host Al-Taee in the second semifinal match, as Al-Hazm has a chance to promote to the Professional League, especially since if they win, they will play the playoff final at their home ground as the highest-ranked team among the playoff clubs.
Al-Hazm won the first round match of the first division against Al-Taee with a score of 2-1 away from home, before the two teams drew in the second round at Al-Hazm's ground with one goal each. Both teams are eager to return quickly to the Professional League after having been among its clubs last season (2023 - 2024), finishing in the last two positions and consequently being relegated to the first division.
