كشف محافظ صندوق التنمية الوطني عبدالعزيز العريفي، مساهمة صندوق التنمية الوطني وصندوق التنمية الصناعية السعودي، بالشراكة مع مؤسسات مالية محلية ودولية، في تمويل مشروع الهيدروجين الأخضر، الذي تبلغ استثماراته الإجمالية 31.5 مليار ريال.
وأوضح العريفي، خلال كلمته في مؤتمر البترول العالمي بالرياض، أن 12 صندوقاً وبنكاً تنموياً تتكامل جهودها تحت مظلة صندوق التنمية الوطني، لتمكين المشاريع وتعزيز الفرص الاستثمارية وإعداد الكفاءات الوطنية، بما يسهم في دعم أمن الطاقة واستدامتها.
وأكد أن قيمة التمويل التنموي لا تُقاس بحجم الاستثمارات التي يحفزها فحسب، بل بما يوفره من فرص، وما يتركه من أثر في حياة الإنسان ومستقبل الاقتصاد.
وأشار إلى أن منظومة التمويل التنموي أسهمت في تمكين استثمارات إستراتيجية، وتطوير البنية التحتية، وتعزيز مشاركة القطاع الخاص، إلى جانب دعم المشاريع التنموية في الدول النامية، وتحسين الخدمات الأساسية وفتح آفاق جديدة للنمو الاقتصادي.
The Governor of the National Development Fund, Abdulaziz Al-Araifi, revealed the contribution of the National Development Fund and the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, in partnership with local and international financial institutions, in financing the green hydrogen project, which has a total investment of 31.5 billion riyals.
Al-Araifi explained, during his speech at the World Petroleum Conference in Riyadh, that 12 development funds and banks are integrating their efforts under the umbrella of the National Development Fund to empower projects, enhance investment opportunities, and prepare national competencies, contributing to supporting energy security and sustainability.
He emphasized that the value of development financing is not only measured by the size of the investments it stimulates but also by the opportunities it provides and the impact it leaves on human life and the future of the economy.
He pointed out that the development financing system has contributed to enabling strategic investments, developing infrastructure, enhancing private sector participation, in addition to supporting developmental projects in developing countries, improving basic services, and opening new horizons for economic growth.
