The official spokesman for the coalition forces, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, announced the execution of a qualitative military operation aimed at neutralizing vital sources used by the Houthi terrorist militia to support its war effort, in a move aimed at undermining its military capabilities and depriving it of the resources it employs to threaten the security of the Kingdom, the region, and international waterways.
Al-Maliki explained that the operation included sites and vital facilities used for storing, distributing, and transporting fuel, in addition to facilities dedicated to providing supplies that contribute to supporting the military activities of the Houthi militia, thereby enhancing its ability to continue its hostile operations.
He confirmed that the use of these resources to support terrorist military activities poses a direct threat to the security and stability of the region, and threatens the safety of maritime navigation and international trade in the Red Sea and vital waterways.
The coalition emphasized that the operation comes as part of its efforts to neutralize the capabilities of the Houthi terrorist militia and to limit its sources of supply and military funding, reaffirming its commitment to international humanitarian law and taking all possible precautions to avoid causing losses or harm to civilians.
The coalition called on the Houthis to immediately cease all terrorist operations targeting civilians and civilian objects, including airports, ports, oil facilities, and infrastructure.
