قررت المحكمة الرياضية في البرازيل إيقاف مهاجم سانتوس نيمار دا سيلفا مباراتين بعد واقعة تغطية فمه خلال مشادة مع لاعب منافس.
وتعود الحادثة إلى مباراة سانتوس وباهيا، التي أقيمت الأحد الماضي ضمن منافسات الدوري البرازيلي.
واعتبرت المحكمة أن ما قام به نيمار مخالف لبروتوكول جونيور لمكافحة العنصرية، والذي تم إقراره بعد اتهام نجم ريال مدريد جونيور للاعب بنفيكا الأرجنتيني بريستياني بتوجيه إساءة عنصرية له وهو يغطي فمه بقميصه في مباراة بدوري أبطال أوروبا مطلع العام الحالي.
وبهذا القرار، سيغيب نيمار عن 3 مواجهات مقبلة لسانتوس، مباراة بسبب تراكم الإنذارات، ومباراتان عقوبة انضباطية بسبب تغطية الفم
The Brazilian sports court has decided to suspend Santos forward Neymar da Silva for two matches following an incident where he covered his mouth during a confrontation with an opposing player.
The incident occurred during the match between Santos and Bahia, which took place last Sunday as part of the Brazilian league.
The court deemed Neymar's actions to be in violation of the Junior Protocol for combating racism, which was established after Real Madrid star Junior accused Benfica's Argentine player Prestianni of making a racist remark while covering his mouth with his shirt in a Champions League match earlier this year.
With this decision, Neymar will miss 3 upcoming matches for Santos: one match due to accumulated yellow cards and two matches as a disciplinary penalty for covering his mouth.
