Senegalese star Sadio Mané, of Al Nassr, secured the twenty-ninth position in the ranking for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, sharing the spot with Frenchman William Saliba, adding a new global presence to a career filled with impressive statistics.
This notable presence in the list of the world's top football stars underscores the growing status of the Saudi Pro League, which has begun attracting top players and gaining increasing international attention.
With the Senegal national team, Mané has played 132 international matches, scoring 55 goals, solidifying his position as the all-time top scorer for his country, in a journey that began in 2012 and culminated in contributing to the victory in the Africa Cup of Nations in its 2021 edition, held in 2022.
As for Al Nassr, which he joined in the summer of 2023, he has reached a tally of 39 goals in the Saudi league over 99 matches as of October 23, 2026, nearing the completion of his first century in the competition with the team.
Between leading the Senegalese scorers and his scoring presence with Al Nassr, Mané's participation in the Ballon d'Or list tells the story of a star whose impact has extended from African pitches to Saudi Arabia, reaching the top thirty in the race for the global award.
