إذ يخضع حارس المرمة نواف العقيدي لبرنامج تأهيلي في العاصمة البريطانية لندن، ضمن المرحلة الأولى التأهيلية بعد إجراء عملية جراحية في موضع إصابته بمرفق اليد، فيما يواصل اللاعب علاء حجي برنامجه التأهيلي في مستشفى سيبتار العاصمة القطرية الدوحة إثر إصابته في الركبة، والتحق معه زميله همام الهمامي الذي بدأ برنامجه العلاجي والتأهيلي عقب إصابته بتمزق عضلي من الدرجة الثانية، ويستكمل الظهير الأيسر زكريا هوساوي برنامجه العلاجي والتأهيلي بعد إصابته بتمزق بالركبة في الرباط الصليبي الخلفي، ويخضع اللاعب صالح أبوالشامات لبرنامج علاجي للتعافي من إصابة مفصل الكتف.
ويهدف المدرب دونيس للوقوف على حالات الخماسي المصاب، والتأكد من مدة وصولهم للجاهزية البدنية والفنية الكاملة، قبل خوض غمار منافسات كأس أمم آسيا التي ستقام بالمملكة العربية السعودية خلال الفترة من 7 يناير، وتستمر حتى 5 فبراير 2027.
هذا وسيقيم المنتخب السعودي معسكراً إعدادي في الرياض خلال الفترة من 9 إلى 17 نوفمبر 2026 في فترة توقف المنافسات الكروية بسبب أيام الفيفا، وذلك استعداداً للمشاركة في نهائيات كأس أمم آسيا 2027، وسيخوض «الأخضر» مباراتين وديتين أمام منتخبي كوريا الجنوبية وأوزبكستان.

Left-back Zakaria Hawsawi is completing his treatment and rehabilitation program after sustaining a tear in the posterior cruciate ligament of his knee, while player Saleh Abu Al-Shamat is undergoing a treatment program to recover from a shoulder joint injury.
Coach Donis aims to assess the conditions of the injured quintet and ensure their full physical and technical readiness before participating in the AFC Asian Cup, which will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5, 2027.
