وكان المدرب السابق بيب غوارديولا، الذي قضى فترة طويلة في قيادة مانشستر سيتي، حاضراً في ملعب «الاتحاد» لدعم الفريق بعد الإدانة التاريخية بخرق القواعد المالية للدوري الإنجليزي.

وواصل هالاند التألق بإضافة الهدف الثاني لمانشستر سيتي في الدقيقة 75، فيما عوض دوناروما خطأه السابق بتصديه لركلة جزاء نفذها فيران توريس في الدقيقة الأخيرة من الوقت الأصلي.

بهذه النتيجة، رفع باريس سان جيرمان رصيده إلى ست نقاط في صدارة الترتيب، متفوقاً بفارق الأهداف على ثمانية فرق تمتلك العدد نفسه من النقاط، بينما تجمد رصيد مانشستر سيتي عند ثلاث نقاط في المركز السابع عشر.
