منح الجهاز الفني لمنتخب البرتغال بقيادة جورجي جيسوس، المهاجم رافائيل لياو القميص رقم 7 خلال مواجهة الدنمارك المقررة اليوم (الخميس) في دوري الأمم الأوروبية، وذلك بعد مغادرة كريستيانو رونالدو معسكر المنتخب.

ووفقاً لقائمة اللاعبين التي نشرها الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم، والتي يتم نشرها دائماً صباح يوم المباراة، سيرتدي لياو القميص رقم 7، إذ تنص لوائح البطولة على عدم بقاء أي رقم شاغر ضمن تسلسل الأرقام المخصصة لقائمة الفريق.
وبذلك، سيتغير القميص رقم 7 في تشكيلة البرتغال، بعدما ارتداه كريستيانو رونالدو «دون انقطاع» منذ موسم 2007-2008، لكن بإمكان «الدون» استعادة رقمه حال قرر العودة مجدداً لتمثيل منتخب البرتغال.
توتر العلاقة مع جيسوس
وتوترت العلاقة بين رونالدو وجيسوس خلال الأيام الماضية، بسبب جلوس «الدون» على مقاعد البدلاء في المباراة الماضية أمام النرويج.
رونالدو يغادر المعسكر
ورغم محاولات التهدئة، أعلن رونالدو مغادرة معسكر البرتغال، وذلك بعد ساعات قليلة من مؤتمر جيسوس، الذي أكد خلاله أنه لن يغير قناعاته الفنية، حتى لو كان ذلك من أجل قائد المنتخب.
«الدون» مهدد بعقوبة قاسية
ووفقاً للوائح التأديبية للاتحاد البرتغالي لكرة القدم، إذا «تغيب لاعب تم استدعاؤه رسمياً أو لم يحضر دون مبرر جلسة تدريبية أو مباراة أو نشاطاً للمنتخبات الوطنية، أو ما يتعلق بالتمثيل الرياضي للاتحاد البرتغالي لكرة القدم»، فإنه سيُعاقب بالإيقاف لمدة تتراوح بين شهر وستة أشهر، بالإضافة إلى غرامة مالية تتراوح بين 500 و1000 يورو.
The technical staff of the Portugal national team, led by Jorge Jesus, has granted striker Rafael Leão the number 7 jersey for the match against Denmark scheduled for today (Thursday) in the UEFA Nations League, following Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from the national team camp.

According to the list of players published by UEFA, which is always released on the morning of the match, Leão will wear the number 7 jersey, as the tournament regulations stipulate that no number should remain vacant within the sequence of numbers assigned to the team roster.
Thus, the number 7 jersey in the Portugal lineup will change, after being worn by Cristiano Ronaldo "continuously" since the 2007-2008 season, but "the Don" can reclaim his number if he decides to return to represent the Portugal national team.
Tension in the Relationship with Jesus
The relationship between Ronaldo and Jesus has become tense in recent days, due to "the Don" sitting on the bench in the last match against Norway.

Despite attempts to ease the situation, Ronaldo announced his departure from the Portugal camp just a few hours after Jesus's press conference, during which he confirmed that he would not change his technical convictions, even for the sake of the team captain.
"The Don" Faces Harsh Penalties
According to the disciplinary regulations of the Portuguese Football Federation, if "a player who has been officially called up is absent or does not attend, without justification, a training session, match, or activity related to the national teams, or anything concerning the sports representation of the Portuguese Football Federation," he will be punished with a suspension ranging from one month to six months, in addition to a financial fine ranging from 500 to 1000 euros.
