في قرار مفاجىء، أعلن الفنان اللبناني عاصي الحلاني عدم مشاركته في الدورة الـ34 من مهرجان الموسيقى العربية، بعدما كان من المقرر أن يلتقي جمهوره في حفل غنائي يوم 22 أكتوبر 2026.
وجاء قرار الاعتذار، وفقًا لما أعلنه مكتبه الإعلامي، بالتزامن مع التطورات الإدارية الأخيرة التي شهدتها دار الأوبرا المصرية، دون الكشف عن تفاصيل إضافية بشأن طبيعة هذه المستجدات.
عاصي الحلاني يوضح موقفه
وأكد المكتب الإعلامي للفنان اللبناني، في بيان صحفي، أن الاعتذار عن المشاركة جاء حرصًا على عدم الانخراط في أي نقاشات أو ملابسات قد ترتبط بالتغييرات الإدارية الأخيرة داخل دار الأوبرا.
وأوضح البيان: «يعلن المكتب الإعلامي للفنان عاصي الحلاني عن اعتذاره عن المشاركة في الدورة الرابعة والثلاثين من مهرجان ومؤتمر الموسيقى العربية، والمقررة مشاركته فيها بتاريخ 22 أكتوبر 2026، وذلك في ضوء المستجدات الإدارية الأخيرة المتعلقة بدار الأوبرا المصرية».
رسالة إلى دار الأوبرا المصرية
وشدد البيان على أن قرار الاعتذار لا ينتقص من تقدير عاصي الحلاني لدار الأوبرا المصرية وجمهورها، مؤكدًا احترامه للمؤسسة وجمهورها.
وجاء في البيان: «وحرصًا منه على عدم الدخول في أي سجالات أو ملابسات مرتبطة بهذه المستجدات، يتقدم باعتذاره عن المشاركة في هذه الدورة، مع كامل التقدير والاحترام لدار الأوبرا المصرية وجمهورها الكريم».
اعتذار قبل الحفل بأيام
وكان من المقرر أن يحيي عاصي الحلاني حفلًا ضمن فعاليات المهرجان في 22 أكتوبر، قبل أن يعلن اعتذاره عن المشاركة، رغم موافقته سابقًا على إحياء الحفل دون أجر، دعمًا للمهرجان وفعالياته.

Assi El Helani clarifies his position
The media office of the Lebanese artist confirmed in a press statement that the apology for participation was made to avoid engaging in any discussions or circumstances that may be related to the recent administrative changes within the Opera House.
The statement explained: “The media office of artist Assi El Helani announces his apology for participating in the 34th edition of the Arab Music Festival and Conference, scheduled for October 22, 2026, in light of the recent administrative developments related to the Egyptian Opera House.”
A message to the Egyptian Opera House
The statement emphasized that the decision to withdraw does not diminish Assi El Helani's appreciation for the Egyptian Opera House and its audience, affirming his respect for the institution and its fans.
The statement read: “In his effort to avoid entering into any debates or circumstances related to these developments, he offers his apology for participating in this edition, with full appreciation and respect for the Egyptian Opera House and its esteemed audience.”
Apology days before the concert
Assi El Helani was scheduled to hold a concert as part of the festival's activities on October 22, before announcing his apology for participation, despite having previously agreed to perform at the concert without payment, in support of the festival and its events.
