قدّم أسامة هوساوي استقالته من منصب المدير الرياضي المكلّف في النادي الأهلي، بعد فترة قصيرة من توليه المهمة، وسط تساؤلات عن الصلاحيات التي مُنحت له لإدارة شؤون الفريق الأول.
وبحسب المعلومات الواردة، لم يكن هوساوي راضياً عن الوضع العام داخل منظومة الفريق، ورأى أن عدم منحه الصلاحيات الكاملة حال دون أداء مهامه واتخاذ القرارات الداخلة في اختصاصه.

Osama Hawsawi submitted his resignation from the position of interim sports director at Al-Ahli Club, shortly after taking on the role, amid questions about the powers granted to him to manage the affairs of the first team.
