في مستهل «خليجي 27»، الذي تزامن انطلاقه مع ذكرى اليوم الوطني السعودي، اصطف نجما الأخضر الشقيقان محمد وصالح أبو الشامات على وقع النشيد الوطني مرددين "سارعي للمجد والعلياء"، لكن مشهد الأخوّة لم يتوقف عندهما؛ إذ شاءت المصادفة أن يقف أمامهما الشقيقان ماجد وفهد، ابناء منصور رشيد المطيري، في لقطة بدت وكأنها رُتبت بعناية، فيما هي من صنع اللحظة.
شقيقان بقميص الأخضر.. وأمامهما شقيقان يحملان فرحة الوطن، وبينهم نشيد وراية ومشهد سيبقى في ذاكرة البطولة.
وقف فهد، الأخ الأصغر، بجوار شقيقه الأكبر ماجد، فيما وقف خلفهما محمد وصالح أبو الشامات، لتلتقط عدسات المصورين صورةً تجاوزت حدود المستطيل الأخضر؛ أربعة إخوة جمعتهم لحظة وطنية واحدة تحت راية واحدة.
ولأن للمشهد خاتمة تليق به، اكتملت فرحة «الأخضر» بانتصاره على نظيره الكويتي بهدف دون مقابل.. فبدأت الليلة بالأخوّة، وانتهت بالفرح.
At the beginning of "Gulf 27," which coincided with the Saudi National Day, the two brothers of the green team, Mohammed and Saleh Abu Al-Shamat, stood in unison to the tune of the national anthem, chanting "Sari'i lil-majdi wal-'ulya." However, the scene of brotherhood did not stop with them; by coincidence, the brothers Majid and Fahd, the sons of Mansour Rashid Al-Mutairi, stood in front of them, in a moment that seemed to have been arranged with care, while it was actually a product of the moment.
Two brothers in the green jersey... and in front of them, two brothers carrying the joy of the nation, with a national anthem and a flag, creating a scene that will remain in the memory of the championship.
Fahd, the younger brother, stood next to his older brother Majid, while Mohammed and Saleh Abu Al-Shamat stood behind them, as the photographers' lenses captured a picture that transcended the boundaries of the green rectangle; four brothers united in a single national moment under one flag.
And because the scene deserved a fitting conclusion, the joy of the "green" was completed with their victory over their Kuwaiti counterpart with a score of one goal to none... the night began with brotherhood and ended with joy.
