علمت «عكاظ» من مصادرها الخاصة تفاصيل الساعات الـ12 التي حسمت مصير المدير الرياضي بالنادي الأهلي البرتغالي روي بيدرو، وانتهت بقرار إقالته من منصبه، بعد سلسلة اجتماعات مكثفة عقدتها اللجنة التنفيذية لمناقشة الأوضاع داخل الفريق والتطورات التي شهدتها غرفة الملابس أخيراً.
وبحسب مصادر «عكاظ»، بدأت فصول القرار في وقت متأخر من مساء أمس (الأربعاء)، عندما عقدت اللجنة التنفيذية اجتماعاً مع قادة الفريق
(السنغالي إدوارد ميندي، والتركي ميريح ديميرال، والبرازيلي روجر إيبانيز، والإنجليزي إيفان توني)، إذ جرى خلال الاجتماع وضع جميع الملفات على الطاولة ومناقشة الأوضاع داخل الفريق والعلاقة مع المدير الرياضي.
وكشفت المصادر أن الاجتماع شهد توافقاً بين اللجنة وقادة الفريق على ضرورة إبعاد روي بيدرو عن منصبه، ليتم حسم القرار فجراً، قبل اعتماده بصورة نهائية ظهر اليوم عقب قدوم أعضاء اللجنة إلى جدة، لتنتهي بذلك مهمة المدير الرياضي البرتغالي مع الأهلي بعد ساعات متسارعة من الاجتماعات والمشاورات.
وأوضحت المصادر أن توتر العلاقة بين المدير الرياضي وعدد من اللاعبين كان أحد أبرز الأسباب التي عجّلت بالقرار، بعدما انعكس على أجواء غرفة الملابس وأحدث حالة من التوتر داخل الفريق، ما دفع اللجنة إلى تقديم خطوة كانت قد ناقشتها سابقاً، إذ كان التوجه يقضي بتأجيل أي قرار يتعلق بالمدير الرياضي إلى ما بعد 19 سبتمبر، تفادياً لإرباك الفريق خلال هذه المرحلة.
إلا أن المستجدات الأخيرة وما خلص إليه الاجتماع مع قادة الفريق دفعا الإدارة إلى تقديم القرار، انطلاقاً من أهمية إعادة الهدوء والتكاتف إلى غرفة الملابس، خصوصاً أن الأهلي مقبل على مرحلة مهمة من الموسم، تتقدمها استحقاقاته المحلية ومشاركته المرتقبة في بطولة فيفا لكأس القارات.
وأكدت مصادر «عكاظ» أن صلاحيات بيدرو في ملف التعاقدات كانت قد توقفت منذ يومين، إذ تم كف يده عن الدخول في أي مفاوضات جديدة، وإسناد مهمات الملف إلى أسامة هوساوي، الذي بدأ بالفعل إدارة المفاوضات المتعلقة بأكثر من صفقة تستهدف تدعيم صفوف الفريق وسد الاحتياجات الفنية قبل إغلاق فترة الانتقالات.
وفي المقابل، شهدت الاجتماعات تأكيد اللاعبين دعمهم للمدرب الهولندي مارينو بوسيتش واستمراره على رأس الجهاز الفني، إذ يرى اللاعبون أن نهجه الفني يتناسب مع إمكاناتهم، مع حاجتهم إلى مزيد من الوقت للتأقلم الكامل مع أفكاره ومتطلباته.

According to sources from "Okaz," the decision began to take shape late last night (Wednesday), when the executive committee held a meeting with the team leaders
(Senegalese Edouard Mendy, Turkish Merih Demiral, Brazilian Roger Ibanez, and English Ivan Toney), during which all files were laid on the table and the conditions within the team and the relationship with the sports director were discussed.
The sources revealed that the meeting saw an agreement between the committee and the team leaders on the necessity of removing Rui Pedro from his position, leading to the decision being finalized at dawn, before being officially adopted today at noon after the committee members arrived in Jeddah, thus ending the Portuguese sports director's mission with Al-Ahli after a rapid series of meetings and consultations.
