في المطارات، قد تبدو بعض العبارات مجرد مزاح عابر، لكن ما يُقال في محيط أمني مشدد قد تكون له عواقب تتجاوز بكثير ما يتوقعه قائله. وهذا ما حدث لمسافر في مطار ميامي الدولي، بعدما تحوّل تعليق قصير أطلقه أثناء إجراءات الصعود إلى موقف أمني انتهى بالقبض عليه وتوجيه تهمة جنائية إليه.
بدأت القصة أثناء استعداد المسافر يوئيل غيفارا كريسبو (33 عاماً) للسفر على متن رحلة متجهة إلى كوبا. وأثناء الإجراءات المعتادة عند بوابة الصعود (D45)، وجهت له موظفة البوابة الأسئلة الأمنية الروتينية حول محتويات حقيبته وما إذا كانت تحوي مواد قابلة للاشتعال أو بطاريات ليثيوم. وجاء رده صادماً وغير متوقع عندما أجاب بلا مبالاة: «لا، لكن لدي قنبلة».
تعاملت الموظفة مع العبارة بجدية تامة باعتبارها تهديداً أمنياً خطيراً، رافضة صعوده ومبلغة المشرف المسؤول. وحين أدرك الرجل فداحة موقفه، حاول التراجع مؤكداً أنه كان يمزح فحسب، إلا أن الإجراءات الأمنية كانت قد دخلت حيز التنفيذ.
تدخل عناصر شرطة مقاطعة ميامي ديد وألقوا القبض على غيفارا كريسبو بهدوء، بينما أخضعت الكلاب البوليسية أمتعته لتفتيش دقيق أثبت خلوّها التام من أي مواد متفجرة. ورغم ثبوت عدم وجود تهديد حقيقي، إلا أن الاعتراف الكامل الذي قدمه خلال التحقيق لم ينقذه من مواجهة عقوبات قانونية صارمة.
وجهت السلطات إليه تهمة تقديم بلاغ كاذب عن وجود قنبلة، وهي جناية مصنفة من الدرجة الثانية. ونُقل إثر ذلك إلى مركز «تيرنر غيلفورد نايت» الإصلاحي، ليمثل أمام القاضي في اليوم التالي بقرار قضائي يحدد قيمة الكفالة بمبلغ 2500 دولار لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية.

This is what happened to a traveler at Miami International Airport, after a short comment he made during the boarding process turned into a security incident that ended with his arrest and a criminal charge.
The story began as traveler Yoel Guevara Crispo (33 years old) was preparing to travel on a flight to Cuba. During the usual procedures at the boarding gate (D45), a gate employee asked him the routine security questions about the contents of his bag and whether it contained flammable materials or lithium batteries. His response was shocking and unexpected when he casually replied, "No, but I have a bomb."
The employee took the statement very seriously, considering it a serious security threat, refusing to allow him to board and informing the supervising officer. When the man realized the gravity of his situation, he tried to backtrack, insisting that he was just joking, but the security procedures had already been set in motion.
Miami-Dade County police officers intervened and quietly arrested Guevara Crispo, while police dogs subjected his belongings to a thorough search that proved them completely free of any explosive materials. Despite the lack of a real threat, the full confession he provided during the investigation did not save him from facing strict legal penalties.
Authorities charged him with making a false report about the presence of a bomb, a felony classified as a second-degree crime. He was then taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center to appear before a judge the following day, with a court order setting bail at $2,500 to continue the legal proceedings.
